The time we’ve all been waiting for has come, theFinal Fantasy 16collaboration event has arrived inFinal Fantasy 14! There’s a whole host of rewards tied to this event, including Clive’s armor, a Torgal mount, and a Torgal puppy minion!
The event is only on for a limited time, starting today and ending on May 8 at 7:59am PDT/ 14:59 GMT, and cannot be completed after this time so ensure you get everything you want before the event ends. Here’s everything you need to know about the event.
‘A Land On Fire’ Quest Walkthrough
You can start the first quest, ‘A Land on Fire’, by speaking with theNeophyte AdventurerinUl’dah - Steps of Naldat(X:8.8, Y:9.8)and choose theBurning Wallas your answer
You must be at least Level 50 and have completed the main scenario quest, ‘The Ultimate Weapon,’ to be able to accept this quest.
Next, travel toEastern Thanalanto go to the Burning Wall (the nearest Aetheryte is Camp Drybone). At(X:28.4, Y:24.5), speak to theWandering Minstrelthen interact with theVantage Point. You want to look down until you spot the’Strange Man’on the ground.
After the cutscene, you’ll be back in Ul’dah. Interact with the’Destination’mark at(X: 9.5, Y:12.5).Afterward, speak toCliveat(X: 9.5, Y:12.5)to complete the quest.
‘Pain To Recall’ Quest Walkthrough
Speak to Clive again at(X: 9.5, Y:12.5)to start the next quest, ‘Pain to Recall’. After the cutscene, interact withCliveat(X:10.6, Y:10.9)for another, after which you’ll be in Gridania. Speak with him again at(X:11.9, Y:13.0)for him to accompany you.

After the cutscene, speak to theSerpent Scoutat(X:8.2, Y:10.5).Afterward, speak toCliveat the same location to complete the quest.
‘The Path Infernal’ Quest Walkthrough
Now it’s time for the final quest of the event! Speak toCliveat(X:8.3, Y:10.5)to start ‘The Path Infernal’. After the cutscene, go to (X:10.6, Y:6.0) and speak to Clive again to start a duty synced to Level 50 after a short cutscene.
For the battle, ensure you’re making the most of your extra actions! Prepare to use Dodge when the countdown appears on the screen and be ready for a couple of QTEs and additional targets to knock out before he charges up too much.
After the battle, return to the Burning Wall inEastern Thanalanand speak to theWandering Minstrelat(X:30.1, Y:24.5), then speak toClivebeside him.
Choose tofollow Torgaland then speak toCliveat(X:30.6, Y:27.1). After the cutscene, speak to theWandering Minstrelat(X:30.6, Y:27.0)to complete the quest.
You’ll receive the Metian Attire Coffer, Torgal Whistle mount, and Torgal Pup minion rewards, as well as the ‘Found the Flame’ achievement.
How To Get The Final Fantasy 16 Orchestrion Rolls
Once you’ve completed all of the Final Fantasy 16 quests, you can exchange MGP for special items with theGold Saucer Attendantat(X:5.1, Y:6.7)and theTriple Triad Traderat(X:5.0, Y:6.4)in the Gold Saucer.
