Manor Lordsis a race for survival against basic human nature, such as hunger, shelter, and provision. You are the lord of the town who provides for the people, and it is your responsibility to grow the population and convert it into a large town.
While the people help construct buildings, transport resources, grow crops, grow livestock, and more, sometimes you need to rely on animals for help. As a lord of a thriving town, an ox and a horse are the two best utilities that you must employ in various tasks to get things done faster. This guide gives a rundown on how to get an ox and a horse and how to use them.

How To Get Ox And Horse
The easiest and cheapest method toget an ox and a horsein the game is toestablish a Livestock Trading Post from the Trade section in the Construction menu. After that, assign at least one family memberto this building andtoggle the “No Trade” option to Import.
Once done, increase the desired surplus to the number of that particular animal you want. Topurchase an ox from the Livestock Trading Post building, youneed 20 Regional Wealth, and ahorse requires 30 Regional Wealth.

By default, you can store up to three livestock, so alwaysconstruct more hitching posts before importing more oxen and horses. Upgrading a hitching post to a stable and storing more animals in one building only costs two plank resources.
Once you have assigned a family, place an import order, wait for a day or two, and you will receive the required livestock.

You willnever get the required animal if you do not have enough Regional Wealthto buy livestock. For this, you mustexport more items from the Trading Postto make moneyand be able to import livestock. The third icon from the left of your region’s name indicates how much Regional Wealth you have.
How To Use The Ox
Theox mainly helps transport heavy resourcesin the game. For example, timber is one of the early game resources that must be carried via an ox. If you have plenty of oxen in your region, the process ofacquiring more timberafter cutting down the trees willbecome faster if you assign an oxto the building.
Similarly, thebuildings that require timber for constructionalsoneed an ox for transportation. Even if you do not assign a family to the hitching post, an ox always needs someone to guide it from point A to point B. However, assigning a family member speeds up the process.

How To Use The Hourse
Thehorse is only used to speed up the items you exportto other regions. Any trade route you have established and the resources you sell via those routes will yield quicker sales if you have a horse.
Ahorse becomes necessary when you export various itemsfrom your region. We recommend you upgrade your settlement with the Trade Logistics development. This will allow you to pay a fixed fee of 25 Regional Wealth to open each trade route for any new item you want to export and import.
