How To Unlock Every Rose Has Its Thorn Quest
Before you start this quest, make sure you’ve finished the two main quests,The Stolen ThroneandAn Unsettling Encounter. Once these are done, it’s a good idea to rest at an inn or your house in Vernworth. This way,if things go wrong, you’re able to reload from your last saved point.
ensure you have aBunch of Flowersin your inventory, as you’ll need them.
First,rest until nighttime, thenhead to the Rose Chateau Bordelrie.Go upstairs to Wilhelmina’s roomand interact with her. When she speaks,choose the option to give her a gift, andselect the Bunch of Flowers. Her dialogue will change, indicating progress.
Next,return to her room the following night,and you can use the bench nearby to pass the time. As you approach her room, a guard will stop you and inform you that Wilhelmina is occupied at the entrance. This signals you to enter.
On the right side of the room, you’ll noticea round painting. Examine it to peek through a hole in the wall. You’ll see a short scene, then Wilhelmina will speak to you and ask for your help.Choose to offer your assistance.
Once you accept,you have three days to complete the quest.
How To Get Evidence For Wilhelmina
Wilhelmina will ask you togather evidence regarding Allard, and your first stop is totalk to Sven, who can be found inhis room inside Vernworth Castle. Make your way to the second floor and interact with him.
Sven will instruct you tovisit Patrick’s Estate during the night. If you’ve followed the steps and unlocked the quest, it should still be nighttime. If not, find a bench to pass the time, but remember, this will reduce your overall time to complete the quest.
Follow the marker on the map and speak to Patrick. He’ll suggestbringing Allard to him to buy you some time to gather evidence. If you’re ready,agree. After the conversation, you’ll be transported to the front of his house.
Make sure Allard has left the house; you can spot him walking with his guard.
Quickly head to his house andgo upstairs. Inside a room, you’ll finda round painting.Examineit to dropan item called theMurder Report. This is just one of the pieces of evidence we need to gather for Wilhelmina.
The next piece of evidence can be foundin a house just west of the portcrystal. Head inside, and you’ll findthe second evidence on the table. It’s called theBribery Investigation Findings.
After obtaining both pieces of evidence, the game will instruct you to return to Wilhelmina,DO NOT DO THAT, this is where many might miss a crucial step. Instead of returning to Wilhelmina,head to Brant’s usual location at the Stardrop Inn and speak with him.
The order in which you give Brant the evidence and the choices you makeare crucial for successfully completing the quest.

You’ll witness an intriguing cutscene that we won’t spoil, and after that,you need to escape. Use the balcony to jump down. There, you’ll meet Brant, who will escort you safely.
The last step is torest until the following dayand thenreturn to the Bordelrie to speak to Wilhelmina one last time fora special cutscene. After the cutscene, you’ll receive8,500 Gand theRing of Benevolenceas a reward for all your efforts.
