First, you need to havefully completedeach of yourskill bars. To do this,practice every skilluntil you have reached thetenth level. Upon reaching the tenth level in your final skill, you will receive a message saying that anew area is opento you, theMastery Cave.
To find the Mastery Cave, head down to thesoutheastern corner of Cindersap Forest. Here, you will find a door in the cliffside. Once you have reachedlevel tenin all your skills, the door will beunlockedand you canenter the Mastery Cave.
You will receivemore skill experiencewhen practicing a skill with an activespecial buffin that skill. You canuse foodto acquire these buffs. For instance, you’re able to eatTrout Soupto increase the experience points you earnwhile fishing.
Inside the Mastery Cave arefive altars, one for each skill. To unlock the first altar, you need tocontinue honing your skillsuntil you have accumulated10,000 Mastery Points.
You cancheckhow manymastery points you have in theskills menuof your journal.
Afterobtaining 10,000 Mastery Points,return to the Mastery Cave. Here, you will be able tochoose any one of the fiveskill altars. To unlock Golden Animal Crackers, you need tochoose the middle altar, which is theFarming Mastery Altar.
After unlocking the Farming Altar, you will be able tofind Golden Animal Crackersaround the world. You can find Golden Animal Crackers inStardew Valley, in the Calico Desert, and on Ginger Island.

Where To Get Golden Animal Crackers
After unlocking the Mastery Cave andselecting the Farming Mastery Altar, you will be able to find Golden Animal Crackers around Stardew Valley.
Unfortunately,finding Golden Animal Crackers won’t be easy.The drop rate on these crackers isbelow ten percentfor every method with which you can obtain them. To make things more difficult, there areno merchantswho sell Golden Animal Crackers, sobuying them is out of the question.

How To Use Golden Animal Crackers
To use a Golden Animal Cracker, have the crackerequipped in your hot barand approach the animal you would like to give it to. When you are in front of the chosen animal,interact with themto feed them the cracker.
You will know when you have successfully given an animal a Golden Animal Cracker byopening the animal’s menuand seeing the Golden Animal Cracker image at thetop rightof the menu screen.
You can also check which animals have been given Golden Animal Crackers from theAnimals tabin your player journal. The Golden Animal Cracker symbol will appearunderneath the heart barof the animal on which it is equipped.
Youcannot checkwhichFish Pondshave Golden Animal Crackers in theAnimals tab, but you will know which ponds have the crackers because thecollection bucketat the edge of the pond will begolden.Opening the Fish Pond’s menuwill also reveal whether a Golden Animal Cracker is active or not.
Give thefirst Golden Animal Crackersyou find to farm animals that create products with thehighest selling price. This way, you can prioritize your profit and start making money a little quicker.
