How To Defeat Bears
If you decide to fight a Bear, we recommend bringing thebest weaponsyou currently own, upgraded charms, and somepowerful healing items.Bears typically attack by swiping at you with their sharp claws,so remember to dodge these attacks if you want to get up close and personal with a sword.
Other than using melee weapons,it may be easier to slowly whittle away at a Bear’s health with a ranged weapon, since you’re able to use this weapon to attack from a safe distance.A good weapon of choice is Pistolsas they have a knockback effect, so as you fire, it will send you flying backwards and away from those bear claws.

Don’t forget toensure you have an NPC on hand to help you do battlewith these brutish Bears, even if their role is just bait to ensure the Bear isn’t chowing down on you.
you may also lead a Bear back to your village to get help from the inhabitants, but you run the risk ofthe Bear attacking your farm animals.
