It just wouldn’t be right for aFinal Fantasy 14expansion tonotinclude some new jumping puzzles, so you’ll be pleased to hear there are a few ready and waiting to frustrate you in Dawntrail. In the very first Dawntrail location you’ll step foot in, the city of Tuliyollal, there is more than one jumping puzzle waiting.

One of the first you might notice (because of the players constantly falling off it) is the high building of Hunu’iliy to the north of the map. Here’s what you need to know about how to find and complete this jumping puzzle.

Hunu’iliycan be found in themost northeastern part of the Tuliyollal map.The nearest aethernet point isBrightploom Post, and you simply head east from there to(X:18.4, Y:31).

Before you start jumping, ensure youhave unlocked the Dawntrail Sightseeing Logas at the top is a Vista and you won’t want to do all that work only to miss out.

Once you get there, you’ll want tohead to the back of the tall building to start the jumping puzzle, where you’ll see various planks sticking out of the stone wall.

For several parts of the puzzle there is more than one route to the next section, so choose whichever you feel most comfortable with. In the video above we show which route we took, but we failed plenty of times and had to restart a lot.

As many of the parts you need to jump to are slender planks, instead of directly jumping across horizontally from plank to plank, I found that lining my character up diagonally meant I had more of a target to “land on” so there was a smidge more room for error.

Once you reach the top, you’ll find the Hunu’iliy Sightseeing Log Vista!
