Each Wastelander Challenge serves as a type of self sabotage, making each match significantly more difficult.
Unlike most challenges, you’re able to’t access Wastelander Challenges from the Quests menu. To initiate a Wastelander Challenge, you need to find one of several Wastelander Beacons spread throughout the map. Once a Wastelander Challenge has begun, it’ll actively increase any XP earned for the rest of the match.
Where To Find Wastelander Beacons
There arefour Wastelander Beacons that can be foundthroughout the map. Interact with a Wastelander Beacon andaccept the challengeto initiate a Wastelander Challenge. Below is a list ofwhere you can find each Wastelander Beacon:
Near the entrance of Brite Raider’s hideout.
Rebel’s Roost
Tucked away in the corner of the walls enclosing Rebel’s Roost.
Southeast of Reckless Railways
On the outskirts of Slumberyard.
Once accepted,a Wastelander Challenge can be forfeited for 500 Gold Barsat a Wastelander Beacon. Each Wastelander Beaconoffers a unique Wastelander Challenge.
All Wastelander Challenges
Once accepted from a Wastelander Beacon,a Wastelander Challenge will dramatically increase the amount of XP you’ll earnfor the rest of the match. The catch is thateach challenge heavily hinders your abilitiesto make a match much more difficult. Below is alist of every Wastelander Challenge.

Unshielded
Shields can not be used.
Completing a matchwhile undertaking a Wastelander Challengewill reward even more XP. If you are eliminated after accepting a Wastelander Challenge,you’ll still retain all the bonus XP earned.
Youcan’t accept multiple Wastelander Challengesat once. Attempting to accept another challenge from a different Wastelander Beacon will onlygive you the option to forfeit your current Wastelander Challenge.
