If you want to stand up against powerful Alpha Pals, bosses, or the challenging dungeons ofPalworld, you’ll need a good team. While there are plenty of Pals to choose from, regardless of your choice, you won’t be able to unleash their ultimate potential without improving their stats.
You’ll need Pal Souls to enhance their stats such as Maximum HP, Attack, and Defense. Additionally, you’ll need these souls to increase the Work Speed stat of your hard-working Pals at the base. If you’re curious about how to effectively farm Pal Souls, then this guide is for you.

What Are Pal Souls And What Are They Used For?
Pal Souls are items thatenhance the stats of your Palsthat you’re able to obtain by either finding theminside chestswhile exploring the game’s map, oras a drop after capturing, defeating, or killing certain Pals.It is also possible to find them randomly on the ground or drop them from human enemies during raids.
Pal Souls are divided into three types:
To use the Pal Souls you obtain, you mustbuild a Statue of Power;you can find Statues of Power in various locations throughout the game, andwhen youreach the sixth level, you can also unlock its crafting recipe from the Technology Tree.To build it,you need 20 Stone and ten Paldium Fragments, which you can find by exploring the game world or by mining ores.
The Statue of Power serves two purposes; first,it increases your capture rate if you spend Lifmunk Effigies, and you may also use them to enhance the stats of your Palsby interacting with a Statue of Power.

The stats you can increase by offering Pal Souls to the Statue of Power are:
Plus 30 Percent
55000 Gold
Stats cannot be reset individually; when you reset themall of your Pal’s stats return their initial values.
Some Dark-type Pals have an increased potential to drop Pal Souls. If youcapture Elphidran, be sure to take it with you as it will provide you with a significant advantage. Thanks to its Amicable Holy Dragon partner ability,it further increases the drop rate of Pal Souls from Dark-type Pals, allowing you to farm more Pal Souls.

How To Farm Small Pal Souls
First and foremost, Small Pal Souls are the ones you need to find before any other type of soul. If you want to maximize the Attack, Defense, and Maximum HP stats of a Pal you’ll use in battle, you’ll need a total of 30 Small Pal Souls for one Pal.
To farm Small Pal Souls, you either need to create a farm route for yourself or hunt specific Pals. You should start by knowing which Pals drop Small Pal Souls and at what rate:

40 Percent
One
As seen in the table,Nox drops Small Pal Souls at a rate of forty percent. The first thing you need to know about Nox is that it’s a nocturnal Pal, therefore, take a torch or Hip Lantern with you and try tofind Nox by roaming at night.
When searching for Nox, your main goal should be tocapture it rather than kill it; this way, after capturing it, you’ll have a forty percent chance of obtaining a Small Pal Soul. Then, you can try to obtain souls from the Nox you captured by killing them with a Meat Cleaver,an approach that proves to be more efficient than killing them without capturing them.

These are places where you can find Nox:
In addition to these, you can make your Nox hunt more efficient byadjusting your World Setting options:
0.1

Pal Appearance Rate
Three
As a result, days pass very quickly while nights pass incredibly slowly. Your Pal capture rate increases significantly, and all Pals you encounter, including Nox, will appear in groups of three, making your hunting journey more efficient.
If you want to expedite the process, you can also aim to produce Nox eggs by making two of your pals breed.

Additionally, you can mark the chests you find close to each otheron Marsh Island, Eastern Wild Island, and Verdant Brook to create a farming route for yourself. By opening these chests every day, you can still obtain a considerable number of Small Pal Souls.
How To Farm Medium Pal Souls
To improve your Pal’s battle stats of Attack, Defense, and Maximum Health, you’ll need 21 Medium Pal Souls.Additionally, to enhance the Work Speed stat you’ll need seven Medium Pal Souls.
Looking at which Pal drops Medium Pal Souls, Helzephyr will come up as the best result, but you won’t encounter as generous results as with Nox’s drop rate. What you need to do iscreate a chest farming route.

SinceHelzephyr’s drop rate for Medium Pal Souls is only three percent,it wouldn’t be very logical to spend time capturing or killing it.
There are two places where you’re able to search for chests containing Medium Pal Souls:Dessicated Desert and Mount Obsidian.Since these areas are quite hot, it’s important towear armor and accessories with Heat Resistant properties;otherwise, walking around can be quite troublesome due to HP loss.

The type of chest you’ll be looking for is another important aspect here. The Grade One type chests in Dessicated Desert and Mount Obsidian, shining in a golden yellow color, have an approximatelyseventy percent chance of containing Medium Pal Souls, socreating a chest farming routewith chests close to each other in these areas would be beneficial.
Alternatively, creating a farm route in Wildlife Sanctuary islandsfor Small and Medium Pal Souls is a fast and effective solution due to their small surface areas.

How To Farm Large Pal Souls
Like with Medium Pal Souls, maxing out a Pal’s Attack, Defense, and Maximum HP stats willrequire 21 Large Pal Souls, while fully leveling the Work Speed stat will cost seven Large Pal Souls.
If you aim to search for Large Pal Souls by wandering around, you need tohead to Astral Mountains.Due to the cold climate there, don’t forget towear armor with Cold Resistant propertiesand the corresponding accessory to move comfortably.
Once again, the type ofchest you’ll be looking for should be Grade One,shining in a golden yellow color. These chests also yield approximately seventy percent Large Pal Souls, so if you create a route with chests close to each other andembark on a journey with a fast Flying Pal, you can efficiently find souls.
When looking at which Pals drop Large Pal Souls, Anubis will come up as the result. The good news is that thedrop rate of this soul from Anubis is one hundred percent. To find Anubis, you need to go to the desert area locatednortheast of Bamboo Graves, known asTwilight Dunes. The coordinates are -135, -92.
It’s worth noting that Anubis is an Alpha Pal and is level 47.
Again, if possible, aim to capture it during the battle, and then butcher it with a Meat Cleaver. If you want it to respawn quickly after defeating or capturing it, you canincrease the day and night speed from the World Settings.
Also, if you believe you can handle three Anubis instead of one, you can set the Pal Appearance Rate to three from the World Settings.
If your level is not sufficient, the high level of Anubis can pose a problem for you or it might be tiresome to wait for it to respawn after capturing or defeating it. In this case, the best option is toobtain Anubis through breeding.
By breeding the low-level Alpha PalsPenking and Bushi, you may obtain a Huge Rocky Egg. If you put this in the Egg Incubator and wait for the incubation period to end, you will obtain Anubis.
Coordinates for Penking:114, -352
Coordinates for Bushi:-116, -491
Eikthyrdeer
Beakon
Byincreasing the number of Egg Incubators, you can obtain more Anubis and butcher them with a Meat Cleaver to obtain more Large Pal Souls.
