The Mourning Lily is one of the many plants that you can harvest inV Rising. This little flower has a few different uses, including being an ingredient in sun resistance potions. When you enter the Farbane Woods for the first time, finding a Mourning Lily can be a challenge.
In this guide, we are going to take a look at how to find Mourning Lily, as well as what you can do with them. Thankfully, you will be able to grow your own Mourning Lily within your territory, so once you have it set up in your garden, you are good to go.
Where To Find Mourning Lily
Mourning Lily isfound in cemeteries and other locations that may have tombstones.In the Farbane Woods, the best places to find Mourning Lily arethe Forgotten Cemetery and the Desecrated Cemetery.
The Forgotten Cemetery is in the center of the biome,directly below the Bandit Stronghold.This cemetery is very large; here, you can find Mourning Lily growing, as well as a few scattered within tombs that can be opened.
This area also contains thelevel 35 bossNicholaus the Fallen, but he is at the peak of the area, soyou can avoid him.
The Desecrated Cemetery is found at the southern edge of the forest,south of the Bandit Copper Mine. Here, you will find thelevel 27 bossGoreswine the Ravager.Like the Forgotten Cemetery, you can also find Mourning Lily growing or within tombs.
Whenhovering over these areas on the map,you will see Mourning Lily on the list of important resources.
Other Mourning Lily Locations
The two locations above are the best sources of Mourning Lily, but you may also find this flower in other biomes. At theDunley Monastery (in the Dunley Farmlands),you can find Mourning Lily growing as well.
This is a relativelyhigh-level area when compared to the two cemeteries,with an added challenge ofconstant holy damage being present.We only suggest farming Mourning Lily here if you have holy damage resistance.
How To Grow Mourning Lily
To grow Mourning Lily, you will first need tofind Mourning Lily seeds.These have a chance to drop from Mourning Lily plants that grow in the locations above. Additionally, you may purchase the seeds from vendors (Shady Herb and Potion Dealerin the Farbane Woods, or theRural Herb and Potion Merchantin the Dunley Farmlands).
We suggest buying the seeds from the Shady Herb and Potion Dealerin the Farbane Woods. This will cost you just 36 copper, andthe dealer will not attack (or flee from) you.This vendor has arotating stock,so you may need to return again if Mourning Lily seeds aren’t available.
With seeds in hand, you will need toplace some growing plots.In the production building menu, you can find plots in the ‘Growing Plots’ tab. There are a few options to choose from depending on how many seeds you want to plant.
Choose the plot that you like the best, and then place it down. From here,put the seeds in your hotbar and equip them.This will allow you to drag your mouse around to choose a plot for the seeds to grow in.
