When you play as a Human inKiller Klowns From Outer Space: The Game, one of the many dangers you’ll run into is getting cocooned in cotton-candy by the Klowns. When this happens, the Klown will carry you to one of the Lackey Generators and hook you up to help power Klownpocalypse.

You’ll remain alive in the cocoon for about X seconds, which gives you enough time to escape or be rescued by another teammate. How To Escape From Cocoons

To ensure you’re able to escape from a cocoon,you’ll need to be equipped with a sharp toolor weapon before being cocooned.

As soon as you’re able to, locate one of these tools or weapons below and put them in your inventory:

Once you’ve been cocooned,a prompt will show on your screento escape the cocoon using the tool in your inventory.

Escaping a cocoon willuse up all charges the tool hasand will leave you without a weapon, so we recommend either waiting until you’ve been hooked and the Klowns leave, orallow time for a teammate to come find and rescue you.

How To Rescue A Teammate From A Cocoon

If you’re on the other side, and a teammate has been cocooned, it is possible for you tosave your friendfrom certain death andrescue them from their cotton-candy prison.

When a teammate has been cocooned, you’ll see a cocoon icon on screen, showing you inwhich direction you need to go to get to them. On the top HUD you’ll also see anumber with a cocoon symbolnext to the number of humans. That will remain there until that teammate has either died or been rescued.

To free a teammate from a cocoon, walk up to the cocoon they’re in, anda prompt will come up showing you what button to use. Hold that button down and complete the skill checks until the teammate is out.
