Mourning Aix is located towards the far south of Whining Aix’s Mire and is within a canyon. The boss has high resistance to the Spectro attribute and deals a variety of attacks, some of which can be fatal. Defeating this boss is a daunting task as Wuthering Waves unique combat system provides players a chance to defeat every boss in the game with just their pure gaming skills.

Most players would have no trouble finding this boss. In case you missed it, you canstart from the Court Of Savantae or North of Whining Aix’s Mire and head southto find this boss.
Make sure to unlock the Resonance Beacon south of the Fallen Grave to travel to this area conveniently.
How To Defeat Mourning Aix
The first step to defeating Mourning Aix is tounderstand its attribute, Spectro. Since Mourning Aix has high resistance to Spectro damage, bring a damage dealer that is not Spectro.
Mourning Aix does not have many attacks that can be parried, butall of its attacks can be dodged. After dodging an attack, the boss gives you plenty of time to deal damage before it attacks again.
Know Its Attack patterns
Breath Attack:This is Mourning Aix’smost powerful attackand the one you should avoid at all costs. Mourning Aix will shoot a linear ray of Spectro attribute energy and will do damage to you.
Breath Attacks can be avoided with the dodge button, or you can simply run away from it. This attack takes some winding up and after this attack Mourning Aix willstay stationary for a while, giving you a good time to unleash your most powerful skills.
Slash with Wings:This attack deals moderate damage but can be somewhat challenging to avoid becausetheseattacks are fast. Slash with Wings will usually be accompanied by a two-combo move.
Mourning Aix will come charging at you quickly and slash you with its wings quickly,then it will fly up and dealanother slash. Both of these moves can only be dodged.
Slash with Tails and claws: This move is similar to a slash with wings and can be avoided without much hassle. But be prepared as Aix will usuallyimmediately unleash its next attack after a slash with its tails or claws.
The Easiest And Fastest Method Against Mourning Aix
Mourning Aix can be brute forced with high damage like most bosses in Wuthering Waves. If you are having trouble doing this,verify your main dps has a proper Echo setup. A proper Echo setup on your character echo slots should look like this,
Equipping correct statscan have better results than having just a5pc Sonata effect. Your endgame should have the correct main stats and the full Sonata effect.
“+” indicates the amount of echo slots an echo will take on your character.ensure yourdata bank level is at least nine(unlocks all echo slots) before attempting to build your character or take on hard boss fights.
