As you explore the underworld inHades 2, you’ll come across numerous mini-bosses that stand in your way. These mini-bosses have unique mechanics that will force you to learn or risk being sent back to the Crossroads; the bonus rewards are definitely worth the extra challenge, though.
Deep in Tartarus, the fourth location in the underworld, you may come across a floating bag of gold, the Goldwrath. This mini-boss has some devastating attacks, and may be one of the last barriers standing between you and Chronos. Below, we’ll take a look at how to defeat this mini-boss.

Hades 2 is currently in Early Access, so the information in this guide is subject to change as development progresses.
How To Beat Goldwrath
The Goldwrath is a mini-boss found in Tartarus. In the four corners of this mini-boss’s arena arelaser towersthat will periodically fire a pink tracking laser at you.
You can destroy the pink laser-firing towers to stop them. Theywon’t respawn.

The Goldwrath hasvery high armor, making all your attacks deal less damage until the armor is removed. Additionally, the Goldwrath willdrop gold coins directly below it, which deal damage to you if you run into them. These coinsexpire after a few seconds, but they can make it hard to get close to the boss.
Unfortunately, you aren’t safe staying at range either. The Goldwrath has alaser attackof its own, although this one has muchhigher damage, tracking speed, and rangethan the lasers in the towers around the arena. Getting hit by this laser can quickly deplete your health, so you’ll want to do your best to avoid it.
Luckily, you can use any of the fourChronos busts near the center of the arenato block the Goldwrath’s laser. Keep in mind, however, that these busts can only take so many hits, and will begin tocrumble if they block too much of the laser’s damage.
Alternatively, you cansprint around the edge of the arenato attempt to avoid this laser, although you may end up getting hit if you time it incorrectly.
Boons thatincrease Sprint speedordamage to armorwill make this fight much more manageable.
Overall, if you use the tools available to you, you should be able to prevail against the Goldwrath. Just remember tohide behind the statuesanddeal damage when you can. The key here is tonot get greedyand eat a laser when you could have avoided it!
