When adventuring on the surface ofHades 2, you’ll come across many strange and never before seen foes absent from the depths of the underworld. Knowing how to face these creatures with little preparation is certain to spell doom, especially when that creature happens to be the Satyr Champion.
The Satyr Champion is an optional miniboss, and with so many other paths to take in Ephyra, it’s unlikely you’ll ever fight him when you don’t want to. But if he’s standing between you and a completed codex or a beautiful, shining boon, we’ll have the tips you need to confront him.

What To Know Before Fighting A Satyr Champion
You’ll find the Satyr Championmarked as a miniboss optionon one of the many available paths.
Although he’s onlyaccompanied by a few small enemies, you don’t want to underestimate him and hisdangerous and speedy ranged attacks.

As a result of his ranged style, thebest precautions you can take into his room are:

Suggested Counters
Triple Tracking Shot
The Satyr Champion levels his hand crossbow and fires three arrows. These arrows curve and follow the player until they strike their target or interfering body.
Dash toward the champion and trick the arrows into hitting the walls or pillars.
Dash Attack
The Champion crosses both wrists in front of himself and crouches. He then dashes forward, causing a wave of energy in front of him.
Dash through the attack.
Power Shot
The Satyr prepares a powerful shot indicated by a clear, long line on the ground. It follows the player quickly and releases when a shot is perfectly lined up or when the line flashes red (whichever is first).
Sprint to hide behind one of the pillars until the shot is released.
The first thing to worry about with the Satyr Champion is the group of minor enemies in the room. These are usually birds, but they can vary.
Take out any minor enemiesin the room before turning your attention to the satyr, dodging any and all attacks you can manage while focusing your attacks elsewhere.
Once all enemies are out of the way, you should thenlocate the Pylonin the room.
Youdo not want to burst it before the minor enemies are gone, as this will detract any damage done to the champion.
As you begin dealing damage to the Pylon, you’ll want toavoid his attacks. There are only three, soremember these two rules:
The Pylon should do most of the damage in this fight, making it a very short and sweet encounter once it’s broken. If he’s still standing when the shades are released,finish him off and claim your prize.
