Where To Find The Statue Of Marble And Brass
The Statue of Marble and Brass can be foundnear Petrichor in the Notsoi Region of Fontaine. However, you must first complete the"Petricchorror Dream"world quest in the"Canticles of Harmony"chain. After completing it, you can visit a new location,“Faded Castle,“to take on the Legatus Golem.
If you open the map, you can spot the boss at the farthest corner of the castle. Make your way through the hallway and thenhead right and downstairs. Move further ahead till you reach The Statue of Marble and Brass.
Make sure tounlock the teleport waypoint near its locationso it’s easier to visit the spot a few times to get enough ascension materials for your characters.
How To Beat The Statue Of Marble And Brass
The Statue of Marble and Brass may look intimidating, but beating it is fairly easy if you have its attack pattern memorized. A few of the moves are easily dodge-able as they are slower to hit your characters or the reach of their area of attack is easily visible.
The Legatus Golem has aGeo shielddeployed that greatly reduces the damage that it receives. Your first order in business should be destroying it to make it more vulnerable.Hit it with enough Geo damageto vanquish it, which will leave the boss defenseless and immobilized for a few seconds. It’s now time to inflict as much damage as you can before the enemy recovers.
The Statue of Marble and Brass will hit you with a series ofPyro melee and ranged attacksthroughout the battle. They pack a punch and damage your characters considerably, so eitherdodge these attacks or deploy a shield. It will hit you with two slashes followed by thrashing its sword to the ground. The attack has a decent range and your best bet is to dodge and get away from it, especially if you are not using any shielder.
Occasionally, the Legatus Golem willshoot three Pyro projectiles your way, though evading them is easier if you keep a close eye on their trajectory. The statue will also place its sword on the ground and willemit Pyro waves around itself. The area of this attack increases gradually, but it is easily avoidable as the game projects the range to you.
The statue carries a violin, andit will hit you with its Pyro musical notes. It’s best todeploy a shield as evading them can be trickyas the notes follow you around. Often, the boss will project all these notes around himself in a circular range that you may evade by getting out of the attack area.
You need to be particularly wary of one of its attacks where the boss will infuse his sword with Pyro and then slam it to the ground.You have to sprint away from it when the game projects the attack range to youbefore you get caught up in it. Also, watch out for a Totem that the Legatus Golem will often summon.If not destroyed, it buffs up the boss greatly.
