How To Defeat Dancer Of Ranah In Elden Ring: Shadow Of The Erdtree
Despite beingswift, agile, and overwhelmingly aggressive, theDancer of Ranahcan be taken down relatively quickly if you come at her with a solid strategy and plan.
We had to ensure wekept proper distance from her during some of her more devastating attackswhile alsomaintaining enough FP to utilize our weapon’s long-range Weapon Artto deal tremendous amounts of damage to her.

Now, whileyour weapon will likely be differentthan ours, the general strategies for evading her attacks and getting your own offense started will be the same;you just might have toadjust a few things slightly to get the most out of your weapon and playstyleof choice!
Magic users benefit tremendously in this fight, as their ability to land attacks on her from a distance makes some of her actions useless, as you can simply run away from them, turn around, and barrage her with your Magic. While you will still have to know how to evade her attacks properly, your ability to punish her will be much better than melee users.

Dancer Of Ranah: Jumping Slash
One of the Dancer of Ranah’s most popular moves is herJumping Slash, where she willsprint forward before performing a leaping slash.Timing aroll just before her attack landswill negate all damage, but youcould also run in the opposite directionfrom her when you see her leap.
After she lands, you can sneak a hit in, but then you must go back on the defensiveas she will quickly follow up with another attack right after.Don’t get too greedywith this attack, as it can and will lead to trouble!

Dancer Of Ranah: Twirling Slash
Another common action of the Dancer of Ranah is herTwirling Slash, where she willperform an advancing slash while twirling toward you. While a beautiful-looking move, it hurts a lot, so we recommend not getting caught in it.
For this action, wehighly recommend just creating distance and having her finish the actionbefore attempting to attack. Whileit can be interrupted with a strong enough attack, you do not want it to hit you.Again, you cansneak a hit or two in after she performs it,so we recommend just waiting it out before acting!

Dancer Of Ranah: Flame Fan
Probably hermost potent attackis theFlame Fan,which has hercast a far-reaching and widespread flame attackthat willmelt your health away the moment it touches you. And, if that wasn’t bad enough, she will often spam this attack back-to-back-to-back,making it one of the most obnoxious tools at her disposal.
Themoment you see her begin to perform this action, run as far away from her as you cananddon’t even attempt to attack herafterward. Just return to neutral and wait to deal with her following action, which might be this attack again. While thismove is interruptable, the damage generated from it makes it not worth risking!

Dancer Of Ranah: Dancing Blades
Speaking ofpotent attacksfrom the Dancer of Ranah, herDancing Bladesaredevastating to get caught by and last a very long time, making it hard to evade. However, like some of her previous actions, creating space between you and her will allow you to avoid all damage.
Additionally, after she finishes this action, she will be left vulnerable for a few seconds, allowing you to follow up with a few attacksof your own. Again, wewouldn’t try to interrupt her Dancing Blades;just let her carry the action out while you run away from her, and then pounce on her the moment she finishes!
Dancer Of Ranah: Double Slash
Following that, anotherhighly-spammable actionof the Dancer of Ranah is herDouble Slash, having herperform two quick slashes in rapid successionthat candeal a surprising amount of damageon contact.
To evade this attack, you canperform two well-timed rollsto negate all damageor can run away from heruntil she finishes the attack. If youchoose to roll, you canland two follow-up hitsonto her, whereasrunning away will only let you get one inif you close the gap fast enough. Again, don’t get too greedy with your counter hits!
Dancer Of Ranah: Drink
Lastly, when youget the Dancer of Ranah’s HP down to the halfway mark, she will Drink from her Flask of Crimson Tears, having herreplenish her HP.Thisaction is interruptable, but she does it so fast that you may not be able to reach her in time. However, she can only do this once, so you do not have to worry about it for the rest of the encounter.
Overall, after she does this, she will repeat the same attacks outlined above and add nothing new to the mix. This isessentially an endurance test at this point, but utilizing the strategies highlighted above will indeed have you best her in no time.
Taking her down will net you with80,000 Runes, her attire, and even her armaments, making it a must for Dexterity-focused players who love to carve their way through their opposition fluidly!
