Mists of Pandaria was one ofWorld of Warcraft’smost popular expansions, released in the fall of 2012. It offered players the chance to explore the elusive islands of Pandaria, home to the peaceful pandaren people. Whether on the Horde or Alliance’s side, you were guaranteed an amazing storyline and nearly endless gameplay.
Pandaria is back and better than ever in the Mists of Pandaria Remix. Travel back in time to relive the glory days and earn exclusive new mounts, appearances, and battle pets; but act fast, as this event only lasts untilAugust 19th. Welcome to Pandamonium!
How To Create A Pandaria Remix Character
To start the remix event, simply log in. A popup will prompt you to create a Timerunner character - customize as you wish, and you’ll be good to go.
Unfortunately, this character comes with some restrictions. For the duration of the event, your charactercannot:
As soon as the remixends on August 19th, any Timerunning characters created will beconverted to Dragonflight, and will have complete freedom to all features.
What Does The Remix Offer?
The Pandaria remix offers several new features, including anew currency, new ways toupgrade your armor, andfree transmogging.
Bronzeis acurrencyexclusive to this event that allows you to purchase previous and newtoys, mounts, pets, and appearances. These will drop from almostevery enemy, and you’re able to get larger amounts fromcompleting achievements, dungeons, and raids.
Additionally,Unraveling Sandswill allow you to discard unwanted items in exchange for Bronze. This can then be spent at vendors in the variousTimerunning basesin each zone
As soon as you finish the tutorial, you will receive theCloak of Infinite Potential, a back item that can be infinitely upgraded with variousthreadsthat will drop from enemies. Additionally, Meta, Cogwheel, Tinker, and PrismaticGemscan be made or bought for Bronze, and when socketed will give your characterpowerful abilities, stat buffs, or spell upgrades.
Anytransmogpurchases arecompletely free, so you don’t have to worry about having enough gold to look how you wish.
Finally,Dragonridingis available very early on, allowing you to explore the region in style and speed.
