When you arrive inFallout 76’sSkyline Valley, it’s clear from the moment you see the storm raging above that things are different here than in the rest of Appalachia. TheInto Lands Unknown questintroduces you to the strange world the Stolz family and their security, James Oberlin, are living in.
Audrey and Hilda are hard at work trying to balance the imminent threat of the storm with a possible cure for the disease that made Hugo Stolz a Lost. Unfortunately, the path to progress is never simple, and you’ll need to help Hilda sort out some scientific issues during The Powerhouse of the Cell.
How To Start The Powerhouse Of The Cell
The Powerhouse of the Cellquest begins immediately after youfinish Housekeeping For Hire with James Oberlin.
Speak with Oberlinto learn about the emergency alert triggered from theOrganics Sector,whereHildawas headed to perform experiments.
Head to theShining Creek Cavernsmarked on your map and approach the large cave mouth carved into the landscape. This is your path to the Organics Sector.
Step inside and fight off the group of Radscorpions waiting for you.
Head down the stairs toward the door marked"Research"to search for theOrganics Sector entrance– it’s on the right side when you enter.
In theOrganics Sector Foyer Area,you’ll need tofight through a group of Lost enemiesto clear the path to the laser grid door where Hilda is.
How To Help Hilda With Her Experiments
Once the coast is clear, speak to Hilda in her office to learn more details about the experiments she’s performing. She explains she’s looking for a way to revert the Lost, andneeds your help to run her experimentsand make the necessary adjustments.
You’ll need tohelp with three serumsto complete The Powerhouse of the Cell.
How To Administer Serum Alpha
For your first task, head to theGreenhousearea in thePharmaceutical Wing.
Defeat the Lost enemies you encounter along the way to clear a path.
Once you finish fighting the Lost and arrive downstairs,look for a green cactus-like plant named Henry– it will be next to some stacked boxes.
Collect a sample from Henry, then head down to thePharmaceutical R&D lab,where you cancreate the first serum.
Once you arrive at the lab,look for equipment you can interact withnearby and activate it. It’s in front of the wall with the Periodic Table pinned to it.
Turn aroundfrom the table with the equipment and go through the halls in front of youto the Clinical Trials chamber one.
Inject the sedated Loston the table with the serum and wait a moment.
The Lostwill become stronger than usual, so you need todefeat this enemy.After Hilda explains her changes, follow her instructions down to theGreenhouse.
How To Administer Serum Beta
In the Greenhouse area, get theCave Gate Key on the tablenext to some other planting stations. Turn to yourrightanduse the key to enter the nearby pipe.
Your goal is tocollect samples of Unusual Fungusfor Hilda, but there’s more to this area than meets the eye.
While you’re collecting samples, you’ll bestalked by a terrifying enemy named Shadow.
Shadow cannot be defeated, so run to collect your samples of Unusual Fungus as fast as you’re able to, taking shots to scare Shadow away.
Shadow is a shapeshifting enemythat can change forms and always appears behind you – in your shadow.
Shadow cannot be killed, but flees when you shoot at it.
After you collect the samples, run back to Hilda while avoiding Shadow.
Hilda instructs you to go to theBiology Wingto inject another Lost.
Go through theclinicandadminister the second serum to the Lostsedated on the table.
Again, thisLost will jump up and attack you; defeat itand listen to Hilda’s instructions for her final test: Serum Omega.
How To Administer Serum Omega
Go through the Fluid Handling section to the left until you eventually reach theVat Storage room – an area past the tubs of green liquidyou don’t want to fall into.
Clear out the Losthere and watch your step.
In the Vat Storage Control room,you’ll find your final Lost subject floating in a tank – Hugo Stolz.
Insert the serum into the machine here and observe the results.
Following the success, listen to Hilda, thenhead to the right up the stairs to take the shortcut back.
Talk to Hildato find out that she hasn’t been entirely truthful about what she’s been doing.
Report to Oberlinto let him know Hilda is fine and will return shortly.
