To complete this aspiration, you will need to do several different types of tasks, including using a computer for a massive amount of time, leveling up skills, and getting promoted in the relevant career. In this guide, we are going to take a look at how to complete this aspiration efficiently, allowing you to reap the reward; the Webmaster trait.
What Is The Computer Whiz Aspiration?
As mentioned above, the Computer Whiz aspiration focuses onmaking you Sim an expert on anything related to computers. Along the way, your Sim will need tolearn the programming skill,but they won’t need to max it out (of course, you can still do that).

Practice Programming for 5 hours

The first step to completing Computer Whiz is toprogram and play video games.Programming can be done on any computer,including those on other lots.All you need to do is interact with a computer andchoose the option to practice programming.
Playing video games is also fairly straightforward. This can bedone from computers,as well as gaming consoles.If you already have a computer that was used to program, you can simply just game from there. Overall, five hours isn’t too long, andit doesn’t need to be consecutive.
Maintain Focus for 2 hours straight while playing video games
Reach Programming level 3
Own $3,000 worth of electronics
Next, you will need to buy some electronics. This can be done from Build/Buy mode;we suggest buying an expensive computer and a gaming console if you have enough money.
To reach level three of the Programming skill,continue to practice on the computer.Lastly, you will need toplay video games while Focused. With the Genius trait mentioned above, you may utilize the Focused moodlet wisely and begin to play video games when it’s present.
If you don’t have the Genius trait, don’t worry! Sometimes,a Sim may become focused simply by playing video games.This is very likely, especially if they play a lot. Focus can also happenduring a long session of practicing programming.
Become an adult
Reach level 3 of the Tech Guru Career
Make a video game/app
Becoming an adult is straightforward, andif your Sim is already an adult, then you don’t need to do anything else.Once youreach level seven of the Programming skill,you will unlock the ability to make mobile games. We suggest doing this instead of a normal computer game, as it unlocks at level nine.
Lastly, you will need to get a job in the Tech Guru career field. You canapply from your computer or phone, which starts you on level one. For the first few levels, you can easily get promoted by programming or playing video games.
Reach level 5 of the Tech Guru Career
Spend 100 hours in total on the computer
Lastly, we have the final milestone that stands in between your Sim and the Webmaster trait. First, you will need tocontinue working as a Tech Guru until you reach level five.Chances are, this has already happened.
This is because the previous step required you to make a mobile game, which requires Programming level seven. To reach Tech Guru level five,you will need to reach Programming level six, which should have been done with the previous step.As long as you continue to play video games, this should be a piece of cake.
With Programming level six, you can hack your work performance to expedite the promotion timeline.
The final step is to spend 100 hours on the computer. There is no quick way to get this done, so we recommend just taking some time to program and play more video games.
