Each generation has a set of goals, along with an aspiration and career you have to complete. While there are some packs required for specific goals, if you don’t have those expansions, you’re free tosimply skip that specific goal. This is also the case for a specific career or aspiration — if you don’t have it, just replace it with another, or skip it.
Astrology Legacy Challenge Rules
Like any good challenge, there are rules you need to follow to complete the challenge successfully:
When creating your first Sim for this challenge,make them a young adultof any gender and race. This is the only generation you’re allowed to use the ‘freerealestate on’ cheat to buy a free lot or house, so take advantage of it. Place them on any lot in any world, and you’re ready to begin.
Once you know all the rules, it’s time to jump into the challenge.
Other Goals
The ancestor of the full astrology legacy is based on the Sun. This Sim has always believed thatthey are the center of the universe, and everything revolves around them. Since money makes the world go around, it’s only obvious that this Sim needs plenty of it to keep everything just how they like it.
Your choice of starter home can make this generation much easier or far more difficult, so choose wisely.
For the Sun, you should spend most of your time focusing on your Art Critic career.Money is the main goalfor this generation, so having a successful career is the best way to achieve that. While you will need to find a partner and have a child eventually, don’t feel pressured to rush these tasks.
Friend of the World
The Mercury Sim was lonely in their early years, and it made themdesperate to make friends. Luckily, they succeed and are instantly popular as soon as they start going to school. This desire follows them into adulthood, as their reputation of being a chatterbox allows them to be a social media personality.
For this Sim, it’s critical tomake the eight friends early. You need to complete this task before reaching the Teen lifestage, so socialize with every other kid you can find. Many children will walk by your lot throughout the day, and you can walk out and immediately strike up a conversation. Don’t worry about grades too much, either.
Work on your Charisma and Comedy skills while the Mercury Sim is making friends around town. you may do this by performing funny interactions when you’re chatting with everyone.
The Venus Sim isall about romance. From just a one-night stand all the way to their soulmate, this Sim is only concerned about experiencing as much love as possible. This is evident in just how many relationships your Sim needs to have before finally finding the one they’ll marry.
Luckily, since there’s no career you need to worry about, don’t worry about losing the time that going to a daily job would take up. It’s best tospend all your time looking for your next romantic partneror work on your Baking skill if you’re already in a relationship. Just make sure not to forget that one special childhood friend who will be your Sim’s spouse.
The Earth Sim, naturally,loves going outsideand spending their time with plants. Since they love plants and the Earth so much, it made them frustrated as a child to see other Sims so frivolously destroying the planet they adored so much. This inspired them to be a politician and fight for the environment.
Your best bet to complete all the goals successfully is tofocus on building up your Sim’s skills. This will help speed along completing the aspiration, and getting the max level of all the skills they need. Luckily, since this Sim doesn’t need to reach the top of their career level, you don’t need to focus too much on getting promotions.
Unlike their parent, the Moon Sim’s head has always been in the clouds instead of on the ground. They dreamed about space all the time and decided their goal was tovisit another planetsomeday. As soon as the Moon Sim decides this, nothing stops them. And, when they finally are able to achieve their dream, they’re swept off their feet by a wonderful coworker.
If you don’t have the Get To Work expansion, you can choose theRocket Science careerinstead of Scientist. This is a great alternative, as you’re still able to travel to space with this career.
Building up your skills early on with this Sim helps out in your career, as they directlyboost your performancewhen you’re working as a scientist. Plus, while you’re spending all your time at work, you can meet and befriend the special Sim you’d like to romance.
The Mars Sim didn’t get a lot of attention growing up, since their parents were so busy with work. This made themlash out for attention, in any way they could think of. This mainly ended up being with mischief. When they become a young adult, they run off, never to see their parents again. They only get into more trouble for the rest of their lives.
Since this Sim will become a Public Enemy and reach the top of the Criminal career,the Mischief skillwill be essential to their life, even if they don’t need to master it. Don’t forget about making enemies, too. This will be easy if after dating a Sim, they have a nasty breakup, knocking out two goals easily.
The Jupiter Sim is the polar opposite of the previous generation. They hate all crime, and itinspires them to join the Detective career. While they also left home as soon as they could, this Sim decides family is important, and keeps contact with their parent. They instill good values in their children and attempt to help their parent see the light.
You’ll need tojuggle quite a few goalsfor this Sim, being both a top-notch Detective and being the best parent they can. It can be helpful to meet your spouse at work, so they can socialize with them to build a strong marriage so they can quickly begin having children.
The Saturn Sim had a great childhood, but their parent was a bit goofy. Unlike them, the Saturn Sim is completely serious, especially about theirpassion for cooking. They decided to dedicate their life to the art, becoming an incredible chef and someday opening their own restaurant.
This Sim luckily doesn’t have to worry too much about relationships, sospend all of your time building up the Cooking and Baking skillsto advance further in your career. If you don’t have the Dine Out pack, you can instead get them to the top of the Culinary career to substitute owning a restaurant.
The Uranus Sim is not serious at all. In fact, this Sim is aparty animal. They love to stay up late, dance the night away, and of course, spend their days playing video games. They’re able to turn this into a career and become an eSports champion and have an amazing club that lets them party all the time.

One of the most difficult parts of this generation is making friends and keeping them all. However, this is much easier if youcreate the dance club early, and by continuing to meet, you can keep building friendly relationships and maintaining them even as you climb your career.
While the Uranus Sim was out dancing all night, the Neptune Sim was at homesinging and painting. This became their passion, and they dedicated their life to their craft. While they continue to have a good relationship with their parents and marry the love of their life as an adult, they have no kids. This ends the legacy.
