How To Start Gathering Clouds
Gathering Cloudsbegins right after you’ve completed both theDouble-Crossed WiresandOldest Trick In The Bookquests.
First, check in with Hugo,who is calmly sitting at his desk.
He makes some vague allusions to what is to come, then sends you totalk with Audrey, Hilda, and Oberlin,who are gathered in a nearby room in Vault 63.
Audrey, Hilda, and Oberlin are discussing one last experiment that couldreverse the Lost disease.
Agree to help themwith their experiment, and they’ll send you into the Skyline Valley again.
How To Activate & Defend The Lightning Harvesters
Once you’ve made the trek from Dark Hollow Manor toResearch Site Saxony, follow Audrey, Hilda, and Oberlin’s instructions toactivate the first harvester.
How To Activate And Defend Research Site Saxony
Approach thelightning harvester and interactwith it to activate it.
The machine will whir and power up, humming to life as your friends congratulate you on the activation, butthere’s another problem.
A large group of Super Mutants is descending on the lightning harvester;defend it for 50 secondsand this portion will be complete.
Make sure to draw their fire away from the Harvester, as it will be destroyed if it sustains too many shots.
How To Activate And Defend Research Site Bavaria
After you’ve finished defending Research Site Saxony,Research Site Bavariawill be marked on your map;travel there.
Shining Creek Cavernis theclosestfast-travel spot to this site.
Once you’re there, activate the second lightning harvester and interact with it, but prepare for another fight.
This time, you’ll beambushed by Thrashers,the turkey-like enemies introduced in the Skyline Valley update.
Fend them off for45 seconds,and the second lightning harvester will be all set.
Now, listen to Audrey and Hilda once again and head over to the final location.
How To Activate And Defend Research Site Rhineland
Research Site Rhineland features more of the same, with a third andfinal lightning harvester to activate.
Activate the harvester and ready your weapons for another45-second onslaught,this time from a group ofLostwho descend upon the harvester.
Once you’ve finished the defense, you’ll hear a conversation between James Oberlin and Audrey Stolz, butthey have very bad news.
TheLostfaction is moving withHugoas he has successfullygained control over every last onein the Skyline Valley.
