Every now and then, the Greek Gods inFortnite: Chapter 5 Season 2 need to enlist the help of mortals. In this case, Cerberus, the guardian of the Underworld, needs your help finding an artifact. The Cerberus' Snapshot quests will take you all over the map trying to find it.
The quests come in several stages with a few twists, so if you need a little guidance we’ve got you covered in this guide. You’ll find everything you need to know to complete these quests and help our boy Cerberus and get all of that coveted XP towards leveling up and claiming your Battle Pass rewards.
Cerberus' Snapshot Quest List
If youhaven’t completed the previous Snapshot missions in the Olympian saga, you will ned to do so before completing Cerberus' Snapshot Quests.
In total, Cerberus' Snapshot Quests havenine stages, making this the shortest of the Olympian Snapshots so far. However, there is also anoptional stagethat will grant you some extra XP if you decide to complete it.
One
Use a Scrying Pool to speak with Cerberus.
Go to any of the four Scrying Pools on the map and activate it to speak with Cerberus about the mission.
Two
Eliminate anything to see if they took the Artifact.
You can eliminate enemy players, NPCs, and even chickens for this quest. Eliminate 20 in total.
Four
At each location from stage three, dig up the glowing pile of dirt to reveal what Cerberus buried there.
Optional Stage 4: Defeat Ares and Zeus! They took the Artifact!
Cerberus believes Zeus and Ares took the Artifact, so if you want to, you’re able to defeat them to see if they have it.
Five
Use a Scrying Pool to speak with Hades.
Head back to one of the four Scrying Pools to talk to Hades.
Go to Grim Gate and defeat Cerberus.
Seven
Follow the scent of and collect the Artifact.
Go to Pleasant Piazza and follow the scent trail that will lead you to the Artifact.
Eight
Return the Artifact to Cerberus' Dog House
Go back to Grim Gate, and in front of the big building return the Artifact into the box.
Nine
Use a Scrying Pool To Speak With The Oracle
Go back to one of the four Scrying Pools and speak with the Oracle.
Stage 1 - Scrying Pool
The first thing to do is use one of thefour Scrying Poolslocated on the map to speak with Cerberus. You’ll find a Scrying Pool at one of these four locations:
Stage 3 - Scavenger Hunt For The Artifact
In stage 3 of the snapshot quests, Cerberus is sending you on a scavenger hunt for the Artifact. He leftsome clues telling you where to look.

Did I leave it under the windmill with a view of the Styx?
You’re going to need to go toThe Other Windmill Landmark, which overlooks the River Styx just south of Lavish Lair.
Maybe on a grassy island in the center of everything?
You might think it would be the island east of Restored Reels where an Earth Shrine sits. But you’re close.It’s the smaller island just southeast of the shrine.
I left it near the snow, where people bury yummy bones too.
You’ll find the next spotbehind the house at The Cemetery.
Stage 4 - Dig Up The Artifact
Now that you’ve located the spots Cerberus told you about, your job now is todig them upin hopes of finding the Artifact in one of them.
You will not, however, find the Artifact. Instead, you’ll find:
During the course of stages three and four, you’re given an optionalStage Four: Defeat Zeus and Ares! They Have The Artifact!If you complete the three steps to stages three and four, theoptional fourth stage will auto-complete.
