Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3’sfourth season has a new suite of aftermarket parts for players to chase. This week, completing a handful of weekly challenges will unlock the JAK Scimitar Kit for the FJX Horus, an aftermarket part that converts this small SMG into a powerful mid-range primary.
Unlocking this attachment is fairly easy this week. Jump into multiplayer, Warzone, or MWZ to complete any of this week’s listed challenges, and you’ll unlock this attachment after five challenge completions. It can be a mix of MP, MWZ, and Warzone challenges as well. This guide will quickly go over how the conversion kit works and explain how to complete all of this week’s challenges.
Week 3 Challenge Reward
Completing any five of this week’s challenges will unlock theJAK Scimitar Kit forthe FJX Horus.This kit installs a 60-round drum magazine and a 3D-printed barrel, increasing the weapon’s range while reducing all recoil. This comes at the cost of mobility, fire rate, and barrel options.
Your overall TTK is slower while the JAK Scimitar is installed, but the increased range and lower recoil make it an ideal weapon for mid-range fights. It functions closer to a fast-firing assault rifle, and it should be used as such.
