When you approach these pinks beams, you’ll have the option to use yourEmpowered Godsbane Bladeon the beam to summon a drake to the spot. However, A Scholarly Pursuit has a slight twist, as you won’t be summoning a large, fire-breathing beast to Bakbattahl, but something just as dangerous.

How To Start A Scholarly Pursuit

Phaesusis no longer the enemy he was during the final sequence, and heoffers to help you stop this dragonbefore it can lay waste to the people of Bakbattahl.

Phaesus' route takes you through the dye fields as he plans to reach the draconic artifact via theForbidden Magick Research Lab.

From inside the Forbidden Magick Research Lab, fight your way through a host of additional blighted goblins and other beasts.
Fightyour way through this herd of enemies whilekeeping Phaesus safe. They should be fairly easy to defeat.

As you reach the final hallways, there will be one last set of foes to stand in your way.
Destroy The Dragon
Be wary of getting overwhelmedby the enemies here, carefully clearing them with help from your pawns as you move down the long hallway toward the draconic artifact.
Once the groups are defeated, approach the draconic artifact with Phaesus, who implores you to keep the artifact intact so that he can study it.
While it appears that you have the choice to destroy or save the draconic artifact, thereis no real choice; you must destroy the relic.
Phaesus will be momentarily angry at you for destroying it, but he’ll get over it fairly quickly, realizing that you’re doing what you must to keep people safe.
Finish your conversation with Phaesus and collect your reward.
