InPaper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Badges are key to getting the most out of combat. With the right Badge setup and enough BP, you can mow through enemies with ease. However, some Badges won’t give you the upper hand in battle and instead influence the world outside of combat.
The Attack FX Badges and the Nostalgic Tunes Badges can alter sound effects and even change the soundtrack. Meanwhile, the W Emblem and L Emblem Badges allow you to change Mario’s appearance. With the Emblem Badges, you can unlock three outfits for Mario that resemble a few friends from the Mushroom Kingdom.
