Every few weeks,Genshin Impactswitches the characters featured on the event banners, and some of these characters are released for the first time in the game. During the start of the Version 4.6 update, Arlecchino was introduced similarly, and she took over the game very quickly.
Being number four of the eleven Fatui Harbingers, Arlecchino was one of the most anticipated units ever since her first introductions in Fontaine’s main quest. She’s a Pyro Polearm-wielding character, and one of the most fun DPS units to play with if you build her properly.

The Best Arlecchino Builds
Arlecchino is one of the veryfew DPS units in Genshin Impactthat get extra damage for a limited amount of time, butyou can switch characters during this time without her losing the buffed state. Essentially, she deals massive Normal Attack DMG whenever she has over 30 percent of her Max HP as Bond of Life.
For most characters, if a certain ability allowed you to do extra damage, it’d go away when you switch to another party member. However, Arlecchino’s Bond of Lifestays saved on her character even if you don’t switch back to herfor a long time. This allows you to make some interesting builds:

Weapons
Crimson Moon’s Semblance,Primordial Jade Winged-Spear,Blackcliff Pole
This is the bread-and-butter-type build for Arlecchino that everyone would want to have since you get themost damage from her kit with the mentioned artifact sets and weapons. While Arlecchino’s Elemental Skill and Burst deal a decent bit of damage, most of it still comes from her Normal Attack when she has the Pyro Infusion.
Fragment of Harmonic Whimsy artifact set was released alongside Arlecchino in the Version 4.6 update,so it might take you some time to get good pieces for this one. However, you’re able to easily replace it with Gladiator’s Finale until you get those pieces since this set also works well for her and you likely have good pieces on it already.
The only way to get Gladiator’s Finale is by defeating various bosses in the open worldsince you’re able to’t farm them in a specific domain.
While both artifact sets give you 18 percent ATK on the two-piece, the four-piece effect varies massively. Gladiator only gives you a 35 percent boost to the Normal Attack DMG whileHarmonic Whimsy gives you a whopping 54 percent boost to your overall damage. It’s quite clear which one would be better if you had the same pieces.
When it comes to weapons, you can use either of the three choices mentioned above. Of course, the first two are significantly harder to get since they’re five stars. On the other hand, you can simply buy Blackcliff Pole from the Starglitter Store when it’s featured.
Crimson Moon’s Semblance,White Tassel
This is more of a niche build on Arlecchino that you’ll get less value from in most cases. However, it can be worth usingif you don’t have good pieces on either of the sets mentioned above. It also goes along with the mono-pyro team thatyou’d generally use on Lyney, one of the closest characters to Arlecchino.
Having a constellation six Bennett gives this build a significant boostsince he gives you a Pyro DMG Bonus whenever you’re in his field. It opens up a way to use both Xiangling and Arlecchino alongside Bennett and Kazuha, which can easily delete any enemy thrown at you as long as they don’t have high Pyro RES.
Arlecchino Artifact Stat Priority
Arlecchino is one of the simpler characters when it comes to choosing the correct main stats for her artifacts. However, this doesn’t make her easy to build. In fact, she can be one of the most difficult DPS units to min-max because of the specific stats needed by her:
Crit Rate/DMG
Crit DMG/Rate > ATK Percent > Energy Recharge
If you’re planning to use her in a reaction-based team, it’s recommended to buildas much Elemental Mastery as you naturally can.
Arlecchino has a passive that gives her Physical and Elemental RES based on her ATK when it’s over 1,000. However, to get maximum benefit from this passive, you’ll need a whopping 3,000 ATK, which is impossible in most cases. Though you can think of replacing the Goblet’s main stat with ATK Percent if you want to try.
Arlecchino Talent Priority
As it might already be clear from the things mentioned in this article, Arlecchinorelies heavily on her Normal Attacks for most of her DMG. Not only does her Normal Attack talent have the multipliers for the attacks themselves, but also the buff she gets when these attacks are infused with Pyro.
Naturally, you’d always want tomax out her Normal Attack first after upgrading all the talents to level six. Once you’ve done that, you can go for her Burst followed by the Skill. The Elemental Burst is slightly more important to upgrade since it can increase your damage by quite a lot.
If you want to save some resources, you canleave Arlecchino’s Skill and Burst at level eight.
However, it’s recommended to at least get the Normal Attack to level ten.
