Aalto is a 4-star Aero Resonator inWuthering Waves. This elusive information broker uses the power of the mists to dash around the battlefield, firing his dual pistols with precision while avoiding enemy attacks.
Aalto is an extremely fast and mobile character with a unique playstyle, but requires a bit more fine-tuning than other, more straightforward Resonators in the game. Below, we’ll take a look at everything you need to know to maximize Aalto’s potential, including the best weapons and Echoes to equip, and the best teammates to pair him with.

Description And Reason For Synergy
1

Static Mist (5-star)
Increases Energy Regen by 12.8%. When Outro Skill is released, increases the switched-in Resonator’s ATK by 10%, stacking up to 1 time. This effect lasts for 14s.
This is a great support weapon that lets Aaltobuff the next character after a swap, increasing their damage. This pairs well with Aalto’s Outro Skill whichbuffs the Aero damageof the next character.

2
Undying Flame (4-star)
When Intro Skill is released, increases Resonance Skill DMG Bonus by 20% for 15s.
Undying Flames increases thedamage of Aalto’s Mist Missileswhen using his Resonance Skill after swapping in through his Intro Skill. This weapon is better if you’re using Aalto as a main DPS rather than a sub-DPS, but can work in either role.

3
Novaburst (4-star)
When the Resonator dashes or dodges, increases ATK by 4%, stacking up to 3 times. This effect lasts for 8s.
Novaburst perfectly complements Aalto’s preferred playstyle of dashing around, increasing his damage with each dash. If you time your dodges within the 8-second window, you should have no problem maintaining the full 12% ATK buff.
4
Cadenza (4-star)
When Intro Skill is released, increases ATK by 8%, lasting for 10s.
Cadenza works similarly to Undying Flame, but instead provides ageneral attack buffthat is less powerful and doesn’t last as long. However, this buff will apply to all of Aaltos' damage rather than just his Mist Missiles.
Best Echoes For Aalto
There are two ways you can build Aalto: as amain DPSor asub-DPS. While Aalto works better as a support rather than a main damage carry, he can play either role depending on your dedication. Depending on which route you want to go, you’ll want to use different Echoes.
For amain DPS build, we recommend using theSierra Gale Sonata Effectset, withFeilian Beringalas the main Echo. This will provide increased Aero damage for Aalto’s attacks, and even further increased Aero damage after releasing his Intro Skill.
Here are the Echoes that can have the Sierra Gale set.
Whiff Whaff
For a support DPS build, you’ll want to use theMoonlit Clouds Sonata Effectset. This set emphasizes swapping into Aalto to use his skills and generate Energy, then swapping to the main DPS to take advantage of these buffs. The Moonlit Clouds 5-set effect provides a22.5 percent attack bufffor the next characterafter switching.
TheImpermanence Heronis the best main Echo to use with this set because of its Echo Skill. This skill providesResonance Energyfor Aalto, and if he uses his Outro Skill, the next character’sdamage will be increased by 12 percent.

Best Echo Substats
Whether you’re using Aalto as a main or sub-DPS, the stats you’ll want to get on his Echoes are the same. Prioritize the following stats in this order to get the most out of Aalto.
4-cost Echo
3-cost Echoes
1-cost Echoes
Basic Attack DMG Bonus
Best Team For Aalto
Aalto is best used as a support DPS for another Aero Resonator likeYangyang or Jiyan, and excels whenhot-swappinghim with either of these characters. Bring alongVerina or Baizhi for heals, and you’ve got a solid team.
Aalto’s Outro Skill provides anAero damage bonusto the next character, so be sure you’re alwaysswapping him into your Aero DPS character.
Aalto Skill Upgrade Priority
Most of Aalto’s damage comes from hisBasic Attack and Resonance Skill, so these are the two that you should spend your materials on first when upgrading Aalto’s Forte. HisForte Circuit is also fairly important, and hisResonance Liberation is strong, but it doesn’t benefit from each upgrade like his Basic Attack and Resonance Skill do.
We recommend prioritizing Aalto’s Forte skills in the following order when spending your resources.
Aalto’sIntro Skill contributes negligiblyto his overall damage, so you can safelyleave this un-upgradedunless you’re trying to squeeze every bit of damage out of him as you can.
