As you make your way through the dark but beautiful dimension you’ve found yourself in, you’ll encounter a variety of living creatures. Some creatures will be there to aid you, while others will keep you from moving forward by chasing or attacking you. One such creature is the red chameleon boss, and you’ll need to beat it in order to proceed.
How To Find The Red Chameleon Boss
The location of the red chameleon boss is in thenortheast region of the map. There are several puzzles you’ll encounter along the way, so make sure you have yourSlink,Yoyo,Disc, andAnimal Flute.
There’s a room with aChaos Eggin a secret path in thelower-right corner of this area. Make sure toavoid the monkey’s attackswhile making your way to the chest with the egg.
Avoid pressing the red buttonbecause this will cause the crows to attack you.
The path going east from this area leads to theheart-shaped telephone room with the chinchillas.
How To Open The Red Chameleon Boss Entrance
To open the entrance to the red chameleon boss' room, you’ll first need to find a way topush the two yellow buttons on the right.
How To Beat The Red Chameleon
One of the dangerous creatures you’ll encounter in Animal Well isa large red chameleon. This chameleon will be towering over you as you move around a small platform, andhedgehogs will be encircling the platformthe entire time.
You’ll need toavoid the red chameleon’s attackswhilehopping over the hedgehogswhen they get close to you to survive.

There is a fruit rightunderneath the chameleon, andeating it willrestore one of your hearts. Grab it if you’re in need of health.
To beat the chameleon, you’ll need totrick it into eating the hedgehogs. The chameleon needs toeat every single hedgehogfor it to leave the area, allowing you to proceed to the next room.
An easy way to get it to eat a hedgehog is towalk right next to it. Make sure tostay on the hedgehog’s left side. Keep moving until the chameleon grabs the hedgehog with its tongue. Keep on going in this wayuntil all the hedgehogs have been eaten.
Once you beat the chameleon, you can head on to the next room.You’ll find a V. Flameas a reward for beating it.
