How To Beat The Crownless

The Crownless has a few rapid slashes and ground slams in its moveset;however, a lot of its hits can either be dodged or parried. The boss may feel much harder to tackle when you battle it on for the first time, butonce you get familiar with its attack patterns you can beat it without much trouble.

Once you get near Crownless, it will either hit you with a couple of slashes, or a single slash followed by a straight slam attack on the ground, andyou can counter these slashesif you press the normal attack button at the correct time. Keep an eye out for the golden ring called the Weakness Halo around the boss; when you see it,that’s your chance to parry by hitting the Halo, inflicting a massive blow on the enemy.

Calcharo, Sanhua, and Jianxin as recommended teammates to beat Crownless

Avoid running too far from the boss, as it will hit you with a sprint attack if you do.

Parrying will also damage its vibration strength greatly;if you deplete the bar completely with a couple of skills and Resonance Liberation, the boss will become immobilized. The Crownless cannot move during this time, so it’s your cue to hit it with as many attacks as you’re able to.

You also need to beware of Crownless' aerial combos, as they are highly damaging if you get caught up in them andyou need to prepare to dodge as soon as the boss gets in the air. It will either hit you with two slashes, followed by a slam to the ground, or you are in for a lethal combo of multiple slashes followed by a tornado attack and one final hit at the end.

You cannot dodge if you are out of stamina, so make sure you never deplete it during the battle.

It’s highly recommended to bring in a shielder to the battle if you are not great at dodging;Jianxin could prove to be a great addition to your team, as she can shield your party while providing healing. You can also equipa shielding Echo such as the Bell-Borne Geochelone, which can shield your team for a few seconds while also providing damage boosts.

You can add a strong DPS character or two to your party, including Jiyan or Calcharo, but if you do not own any five-star character, then utilize your Rover or Sanhua. You can equip Inferno Rider as your main Echo as it can inflict a great amount of fusion damage if you transform into the Echo during battle.

To increase the damage of your characters, there are a few Echo sets that you can equip. The set Lingering Tunes can boost the attack of any character, but there are a few element-specific sets that increase the elemental damage dealt greatly, asSierra Gale works best on Jiyan while Void Thunder suits Calcharo.

Support characters that can either heal or provide damage boosts are helpful against boss battles; Verina, Mortefi, and Baizhi are a few recommended ones.Verina can heal your characters tremendously so theRejuvenating Glow set is the best option, as it increases the healing potentialof your healer.

However, if youequip the Moonlit Clouds Echo set on your allies, they will get a high-energy recharge boost, making them much more efficient, since you’re able to use their Liberation often. Likewise,if you equip the complete 5 Echo set of Moonlit Clouds then your next teammate will get a damage boost, so you have different choices that might vary depending on your preferences.
