How To Beat Shadow-Spillers
As you enter the Shadow-Spiller’s arena, your screen will becovered in shadow, leaving a small window of vision in the center, where the Shadow-Spiller is. The Shadow-Spiller will always havearmor, making all of your attacks deal less damageuntil it is removed.
Additionally, two other enemieswill behidden in the shadows. These enemies will frequently target you withvine-crawling attacksthat will quicklymove toward you in a straight line.

Your first step for this fight will be tofind and kill these two vine-launching enemies. You can easily find their location by seeingwhere the vines come fromand then heading in that direction.
Once you’ve taken out these enemies, you’re free to return to the Shadow-Spiller itself. The Shadow-Spiller hastwo main attacksthat it will use. First is atail swipethat deals heavy damage in anarc in your direction.

Its other attack is atail slamthat it will also target towards your current position. This attack deals heavy damage in acircular area.
Both of the Shadow-Spiller’s attacks deal a lot of damage, but are relativelyslow and easy to see coming. Your main strategy should be tododge oftenandreposition yourself on the opposite side of the boss’s tail. Get in attacks where you’re able to, but focus on staying mobile.
TheSister Bladesare great for this fight for that reason. Their high mobility lets you dodge in between attacks. Alternatively, staying at range with theWitch’s Staffor Umbral Flames is also a great option, allowing you to avoid the Shadow-Spiller’s attacks altogether.
