On your journey into the underworld inHades 2, you’ll come across a variety of deadly creatures, mythological monsters, and powerful gods. Before you can kill Chronos, you’ll need to deal with the inhabitants of Erebus, Oceanus, and the Mourning Fields, first.
Each of these areas is defended by a Guardian, a powerful boss that blocks you from progressing to the next area. The Guardian of Oceanus is Scylla and the Sirens, a group of three performers that will test your prioritization skills. Below, we’ll take a look at how to defeat this boss.

Hades 2 is currently in Early Access, so the information in this guide is subject to change as development progresses.
How To Beat Scylla And The Sirens
Scylla appears at the end of Oceanus with her backupdrummer Roxyandguitarist Jetty. You’ll have to fight all three of these Sirens at the same time, but they allshare the same health bar.
While they share the same health bar, the backup artists can be “defeated” if they take enough damage, temporarily taking them out of the fight. They’ll both be brought back when the total health of Scylla and the Sirens reaches around50 percent.

This will also signal the start ofphase two, and both defeated Sirens will return with stronger attacks. We’ll take a deeper look at this fight’s second phase later.
Scylla uses her shell toblock all attacks from the back, taking no damage.

Your strategy for this fight should always be totake out Roxy, the drummer, first. She remainsstationaryat the back of the arena, but uses difficult-to-avoid area attacks that make it harder to avoid the other two musicians.
Until the drummer is defeated, you can largelyavoid Scylla herself. She is slow and her attacks her fairly easy to dodge, meaning you can safelykite her around the arenawhile fighting the guitarist, Jetty.
Jetty has a strongcharged attackthat she will use in your direction, pulsing a wave of damage where she slides. She can also fire a wave of projectiles at you that don’t do damage, but candazeyou, stopping you in place for a moment.
After Jetty is defeated, Scylla will be the only one left. While she is slow and easy to dodge, there are a few attacks you should watch out for. First is herscreaming wavewhere she rapidly firesshort-range projectileswhile chasing you around. You can avoid this bysprinting around the arena.
Scylla will also periodically fire amusic note projectileat you. This projectile moves fairly slowly, so you should be able to avoid it if you keep an eye on it.
Occasionally, Scylla will completely hide in her shell, blocking all damage. After a second, she’ll emerge by firing a line of projectiles. Be careful not to stand in front of her when she comes out of her shell.
Phase Two - Featured Artist
At around50 percent health remaining, Roxy and Jetty will return to the fight, and one of the trio will be chosen as theFeatured Artist, making theirattacks stronger. It’s completely random which Siren is chosen as the Featured Artist.
When a Siren is defeated at this point, they’ll betaken out of the fight for good.
Regardless of who becomes the Featured Artist, your strategy should be the same as before. Take outRoxy firstto remove her annoying area attacks, then focus on Jetty while kiting around Scylla.
Once Scylla is the last remaining enemy, she’ll start tosummon Pinheads around the edges of the arena. These small fish enemies have low health, but you can quickly become overwhelmed by them, especially without a strong AoE weapon or Boons.
Use your Cast to keep the Pinheads at baywhile you deal the final blow to Scylla. These fish willkeep spawning endlesslyuntil she’s defeated, so don’t bother trying to clear them all out. After Scylla is down, take a Pearl as your reward, and head into the Mourning Fields.
