Since your shell may degrade quickly in this battle, having a higher VIT stat rather than RES would be advantageous.

Baby Shoe and Skull allow you torevive once with the Another Chance ability.Besides these, it’s advantageous to bring a durable shell that fits your build. Fragile and weak shells can put you at significant risk in this fight.

It’s possible to parry his Plier Slash attack, but be aware that while he appears to be executing a Plier Slash, his weapon might transform into the long form, resulting in a Triple Slash attack.

If he performs the Triple Slash, it’s a good idea to attempt a parry on the final strike, as it is slower than the first two, allowing you to deal damage with a Riposte.
For both the Triple Slash and Long Sweep attacks, which hit a wide arc, it’s crucial not to try dodging them. Instead, block with your shell or attempt to parry the final strike. If you aren’t too close to him during his Triple Slash, you canuse your Eelectrocute adaptation to interrupt his combo.

Inkerton’s long-range attack, the Confetti Pistol, is swift. However, if you see him raising his weapon, and you’re close enough, it’s not impossible to parry. That said, dodging this attack is a better strategy, as blocking it with your shell will stilldeal significant damage and might break your shell.
The Elusive Prey skill is highly useful in this fight, granting you a few seconds of invulnerability while searching for a new shellif yours breaks.

Lastly, standing in his Smokescreen attack is not advisable. While you can’t see Inkerton within the smoke, he can still see you and might use his Aggro Attack (Crab Hunter) or the Confetti Pistol, dealing substantial damage.Exit the Smokescreen as quickly as possiblefor your safety.
