How Long Does It Take To Finish The Story?
According to early reports atHowLongToBeat, players are reporting an average of around35 hoursto finish Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance’s story.
It’s important to note, however, thatthis may simply mean one route. In our experience,it took about 35 hours to finishoneroute.

Which would mean a second playthrough, in order to experience the other path,would effectively count as additional content- makes sense! We’re with the other folks on this one.
How Long Does It Take To Finish Both Routes?
Meanwhile, sinceyou choose either the original Canon of Creation story or the new Canon of Vengeance storyat the beginning of the game, you’ll still want to enjoy the other afterward (assuming you enjoyed the first).
That said,you can carry over a great deal of your strength in New Game Plus, if you so desire. We did, which made the second path a breezy experience,raising our in-game timer to 50 hours.

How Long Does It Take To 100 Percent The Game?
If your goal is tocomplete everything in Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance,you’re looking at around 75 hours. This doesn’t just meanfilling the entire Demon Compendium and doing all side quests.
It also meansplaying through the story thrice, becausethere’s exclusive contentthat cannot be played without unlockingGodborn difficulty.
This, in turn, cannot be done until after you’ve finished both Canon of Creation and Canon of Vengeance (and done certain things within them to boot).
