There are 20 total achievements and trophies to grab inAnimal Well, not all of which were created equal. While there are some you’ll almost have to trynotto get as you play through the game’s main story, there are a handful of achievements that you’ll need to be quite purposeful to obtain.
One such achievement in Animal Well is the “Sneak” trophy, which requires you to sneak up on one of the squirrels you’ll see around the map. However, this is much,mucheasier said than done – starting a new save is the quickest way to do it.

Start A New Game For The Easiest Time Getting The “Sneak” Achievement
Though you’ll find the squirrels in odd spots all around the well as youexplore the mapin Animal Well, sneaking up on one requires some planning ahead of time - youdon’t have many chancesto do so, since the squirrels are eitherfacing you most of the time, or they’reextremely skittish.
Because of this, the best way to sneak up on a squirrel in Animal Well is tostart a new game from scratchonce you’vegotten the hang of the gameand its mechanics. You’ll have seen the squirrel you’re trying to scare as you navigate thenortheast quadrantof the map, outlined in green and home to the twochameleon boss puzzles, awarding you with boththe Slinky upgradeand one ofthe game’s four flames.

When youstart a new save, you’ll need toproceed through the introduction as normal, being sure yougrab a few extra Firecrackersas you make your way through the tutorial area, obtain the map, and emerge into thecentral area with the four beacon statues.
It’s not a bad idea tosave at the telephonein the central area here - if you mess up when sneaking up on the squirrel ahead, since this one is the easiest squirrel to sneak up on, you can reload your save and try again if things don’t go your way.

From here,head right then up the first ladderinto the green biome (passing the squirrel we’re scaring on the upper ledge in here) until you come across the room withfive platforms with hedgehogscrawling around them, and thelocked door in the upper left cornerthat leads to a ladder. For now, though, since you don’t have a key,jump to the top right cornerof the room and leave the screen this way.
You’ll enter a room with achest in the centerand a Chinchilla off to the right side. The chest has thekey to the door in the previous room, so you’ll need touse the Chinchilla to reach the keybefore doubling back into the last room. Jump over to the door in the top left corner,unlock the door, and prepare to be very,verycareful from here.
Once you have the door unlocked,slowly inch your way into the room to the left. The squirrel you’re trying to sneak up on is just past where the screens change, somove as slowly as you possibly canand take it one step at a time.
If you move slowly enough, the squirrel won’t turn around and get scared. Once you’re near enough, you’ll see awhite ! markabove your blob’s head, sointeract with the squirrelto finish sneaking up on it. You’ll get anutfor doing so, and thisAnimal Well achievementwill trigger as well.
