World of Warcraft: Classiclacks the Dungeon Finder interface that the modern game has; thus, adventurers need to find dungeon entrances in the open world if they wish to delve into them. Many dungeons have long “pre-dungeons” as winding paths to their entrances, filled with dangerous elite monsters.
To get around these perilous paths, players have figured out a method called “logout skips”. They are a popular way to traverse not only pesky dungeons, but parts of the wider world of Azeroth and beyond, as well.

What A Logout Skip Is
In the simplest terms, logout skips consist ofgoing to a specific spot in the world and logging out of your character.you may then log right back in, andyour character will be in a different spotthat is a significant distance away from where you started.
These skips usually take place in the same zone andare most often used to skip long distances or large groups of hostile enemiesin cramped quarters. Like any skip in the physical world, time and resources are what you may save by using logout skips.

How A Logout Skip Works
Because of the often joked about “spaghetti code” of World of Warcraft, there are a bunch of weird ways that players have interacted with the world over the years.Logout skips are one of the morepopular expressions of this phenomenon, due to their beneficial nature.
There are afew elements that most logout skips have in common; these tend to be having yourcharacter in water, near a wall, or having a roof over their head. The most famous logout skips, whether they are significantly useful or not, have at least one of these ingredients.

This is why many dungeons have these skips of long distances, as many take place underground in tight corridors, andsome logout skips happen in the open world as well, usually in caves or around water. While these are the common elements of the beginning of logout skips, thedestinations of them also have similar constants.
The places characters usually end upafter you log back into them tend to be graveyards and instance or zone boundaries; of course, the graveyard destinations are the game’s mechanical graveyards, meaning the places that are designated to be where your character respawns in a ghostly form when they die. This is another reason that logout skips are so useful for dungeon delving.

The Season Of Discovery Raid Logout Skips
Not all dungeons and raids have access to a logout-skip, but there are two in the Season of Discovery of World of Warcraft: Classic that has been quite popular. These are two of the dungeons-turned-raids that the season introduced, calledBlackfathom Deeps and the Temple of Atal’Hakkar; with both of these instances having long pre-dungeons, their logout skips come in handy.
Blackfathom Deeps Logout Skip
Blackfathom Deeps' logout skip requires you toreach the bottom of the templethat rises above the sands of the Zoram Strand.
At the bottom of the temple that was once called Lathar’Lazal, in the water, is where you can perform the logout skip. At thebeginning of the cavern leading to the entrance, on the left wall, is where you need to sit and log out, and when you log back in, you will beright at the entrance to the dungeon.

Temple Of Atal’Hakkar Logout Skip
The Temple of Atal’Hakkar’s logout skip is alsolocated in the water at the beginningof its pre-dungeon.
At thebase of the stairs leading into the depths of the temple, on the left wall, is where you need to situate your character for the dungeon’s logout skip. When you are logged back in, you will bein the graveyard room of the temple, near the entrance to the instance.

Since you will be in the graveyard room, you will need to exit and run through the nearby room to reach the instance portal. As such, be prepared to run as soon as you log back in, as the elite troll mobs may be there and attack you.
