Summary

What’s worse than a Charger? A Bile Titan. What’s worse than a Bile Titan? ABile Charger.Fans have joked about the possibility of such a monstrosity sinceHelldivers 2launched, but I’m sorry to say that it’s very real now.

Reputable leaker IronS1ghts has uncovered a detailed, seemingly complete model of this horrible fusion in the files. Imagine a standard Charger, which is already difficult to kill, that causes an acid explosion when it dies. I’m just gonna hang back and call in every singlestratagemand hope for the best, cool?

Why? Why god? Why? Arrowhead I said fix bugs not make more.

The community manifested thisthingbut has learned absolutely nothing. The comments are filled with fans suggesting even more nightmarish Terminid ideas like a Bile Shrieker and a Stalker Titan. The Automatons look really enticing right now.

The First Helldivers' Impalers Are Also Returning

It’s not just Bile Chargers worming out of the recesses of the community’s collective nightmare of a hivemind, IronS1ghts also found references to the first games' Impalers in the files. There’s no model yet, but the newest update added two notable strings, “Behaviorld_bug_impaler” and “Behaviorld_bug_impaler_tentacle”.

If you haven’t played the first game, the Impaler sticks its head into the ground and creates tunnels with its tentacles that then burst out and attack its target (thanks,Fandom). This does make them more vulnerable, revealing their weak point, but they typically attack from a longer range. So, you need to close the distance while avoiding their writhing appendages.

It’s unclear how they’ll function in Helldivers 2, but given that IronS1ghts also found a reference to an Impaler tentacle, they likely won’t change that much. When we can expect these two new Terminid variants to join the fight is unknown, but the near future ofthe Second Galactic Waris looking grim.
