Summary

Helldivers 2shared a news broadcast yesterday which revealed that an accident at a dark fluid research station created a miniature black hole. This is a huge development for Super Earth that may tie into the leaks of usblowing up an entire planet.

“Today the dark fluid research facility at Moradesh went into emergency shutdown following what officials are describing as a ‘close call’,” the reporter says. “According to reports, the volatile exotic materials suddenly collapsed into a micro black hole that spaghettified 12 facility members before evaporating. Conduction of weaponised dark fluid is scheduled to resume tomorrow with no shortfalls projected in support of the ongoing operation to destroy the Terminid supercolony.”

The volatile exotic materials suddenly collapsed into a micro black hole that spaghettified 12 facility members before evaporating.

Last month, leaker IronS1ghts shared a picture of a planet explodingalongside a “Dark Fluid Containment Device” which will reportedly be part of the “Dark Fluid Research Station” objective. It was believed at the time that this would play a role in the Major Order to destroy Meridia, a Terminid planet. Given that the news reporter mentions wiping out a Terminid supercolony, what better way than to detonate a self-collapsing black hole within the planet?

Helldivers 2 Fans Think Dark Fluid Weapons Will Introduce The Illuminate

We know that the Illuminate’s arrival is imminent - leaks are ramping up as dataminers like IronS1ghts findentiremodelsin the files. But we don’t know why or how they’ll join the Second Galactic War.

One theory is that, because dark fluid is made from Illuminate technology, using it will alert them to our rapid scientific developments, sparking their attack. Some even believe that the black hole didn’t evaporate but was instead closed by the Illuminate, averting an even bigger catastrophe.

Another suggestion is that once we use dark fluid to destroy Meridia, it will open a wormhole that the Illuminate will arrive through. However, it’s worth noting that the Illuminate are already here–we’ve seencloaked warshipsand theirsignature blue laser weaponryon the battlefield. Attacking us becauseof our flippant use of such devastating technology seems a more likely motive.
