Summary
Hades 2lets you bathe with your companions at The Crossroads once you have a good enough relationship with them, although the scenes aren’t always as romantic as you’d expect.
Without a doubt, one of the biggest highlights of the original Hades wasbuilding up a relationship with everyone in the Underworld and slowly seeing Zagreus' relationship improve with them. This would usually just lead to deeper conversations and gifts being exchanged, but for a select few characters like Megara and Thanatos, advancing these relationships would lead to some… unique scenes.

These steamy scenes and moments of one-on-one time with characters were such a highlight of the original Hades that fans have wondered how it would be taken further for Hades 2. I’m happy to report that Hades 2 has several more ways to deepen your relationship with your companions, even if they aren’t always romantic.
Invite Your Companions To The Bathhouse
The first, and most interesting, of the new things you may do with your companions is taking a bath together. As you make your way through Hades 2, you’ll unlock more incantations that can be performed at the cauldron, which activates various mechanics, such as allowing you to plant seeds and trade with a broker.
Further into the game, you’ll be able to unlock a bathhouse, which then lets you buy bath salts from the Wretched Broke to give to your companions. If they accept, which requires a high relationship level and lots of Nectar, then you’ll get a scene of Melinoe and whoever you’ve invited taking a bath together.
Almost all of the characters at the Crossroads can be invited to take a bath and, while it sounds steamy, these conversations are more friendly and lighthearted, instead of having a lot of tension. It’s not clear yet if theyeventuallybecome more intimate scenes, but for now it seems like the focus has been taken off of romance a littlle.
Melinoe does have some flirty energy with Odysseus and Nemesis, but the conversations they have aren’t as explicitly romantic as in the previous game. Outside of those two, there are several characters you can take, such as Dora and Schelemaus, that are clearly just friendly visits, which makes a nice change of pace and shows a lot of effort has been put into expanding the companion scenes.
There also seems to be a tavern that you can take certain companions to, but in our play time so far we haven’t been able to access it, even with Ambrosia.
Outside of the baths, you can also take a select few characters fishing as a way of deepening your bonds. There’s not as many characters who will go fishing with Melinoe, but it’s yet another fun way you can expand your relationship with characters.
