As reported byEurogamer, its current peak is 103,567 players. As of writing–on a Wednesday morning before half the world has even woken up–59,714 people are battling through the underworld. It’s safe to say Supergiants' first-ever sequel is off to a good start.
The first Hades hit its all-time concurrent player peak of 37,749 four years ago, but the release of Hades 2 has given it a huge boost. Its peak in the past 24 hours is 36,043 players.
The game hasn’t even fully launched yet. It’s currently in early access, and we’ve seen the enormous push a 1.0 release can bring. Only last year,Baldur’s Gate 3set the world on fire and then kicked it off a cliff for good measure, winning countless accolades and the top prize of Game of the Year. Supergiant expects to be in early access “at least through the end of 2024”, so we might see the full launch as soon as next year.
