Summary
Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’s new form for Goku Black in the Future Saga DLC, elegantly titled “Goku Black (Super Saiyan Rosé) - Ultra Supervillain”, is so long it barely fits on the character select screen.
If you’ve been a Dragon Ball fan for a long time, then you’ve no doubt heard the jokes about how consulted some of the transformation names can be.I always scoffed when people poked fun at Super Saiyan having a number grading system, but it became a lot harder to defend when we started getting titles like Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan Blue and Super Saiyan Rose. Oh, sorry, that’sRosé'.

The naming conventions got so silly that Dragon Ball has even poked fun at it, opting to go for Super Saiyan Blue in recent years. Well, it’s right back to being a tongue-twister in Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2’s Future Saga DLC,as everyone’s favourite extravagant Goku body-snatcher has a complicated new form.
Say Goku Black (Super Saiyan Rosé) - Ultra Supervillain Three Times Fast, I Dare You
One of the most exciting things about the Future Saga DLC is that it comes with several new characters, including a new version of Broly, Videl, and Android 18.Goku Black and Super Saiyan God Vegeta also get new Ultra Supervillain formsthat are going to form a large part of the saga’s story.
With a brand new form with a name as wordy as “Ultra Supervillain”, you can already imagine that it’s going to take up a lot of room on the character select screen, but things are even worse when you remember that Goku Black already has a ridiculously long name in Xenoverse 2. Well,as you can see thanks to Twitter user SLOplays, Goku Black’s new form is so long it barely fits on the screen.
Funnily enough, this isn’t the first time thatGoku Black specifically has caused problems when it comes to the length of his name.
The text has clearly been made smaller and stretched out for the form, with the hyphen even resembling a little dot because of it. Things wouldn’t have been so bad if they’d just gone with “Goku Black - Ultra Supervillain”, but since he’s technically also using Super Saiyan Rosé, they just had to go with that impossible tongue-twister.
Here’s hoping Sean Schemmel doesn’t have to say the title too much.
