Summary

If there’s a product you can put aPokemonon that will make fans of the series want to buy it, then you can rest assured The Pokemon Company has created it. Whether it’s a plush recreation of your favorite Pokemon or a backpack created in conjunction with Loungefly, there’s a lot of Pokemon merch out there. So much that the cost quickly starts to stack up if you buy a lot of it, but you can save a little on Pokemon stuffat GameStop through its buy two, get one free sale.

The sale is site-wide and includes more than just Pokemon products, but it’s the Pokemon corner of GameStop where some of the best stuff can be found. A couple of Pokemon Squishmallows are even included in the sale. Clefairy and Teddiursa’s Squishmallows, still the newest ones available untilDragonite and Marill join the party this summer, are both included in the sale. That means you can buy both and then get something else thrown in for free.

That’s provided the third item costs less than theSquishmallows, of course. As is the case with most sales like this one, it’s the cheapest item of the three that you get for free. AddLoungefly’s Eeveelutions backpackto your haul alongside the Clefairy and Teddiursa Squishmallows, for instance, and it’ll be one of the Squishmallows you get for free. Havethe Squishville Sleeping Pikachuas your third item and it will be the Squishmallows you pay for and the Pikachu will be the plush you get for free.

Clefairy Squishmallow

Clefairy is another Pokemon from the original 151 that has been selected for the series' Squishmallow collection. Soft, pink, and cuddly, it makes a lot of sense that Clefairy would get the nod.

You don’t need to buy a Squishmallow at all if you don’t want to. There are all sorts of other Pokemon stuff included in GameStop’s sale that hasn’t already been mentioned, the highlights of which arean Arcanine backpack,a furry Eevee cap, anda $60 Cubone plush. Why is it $60, I hear you ask? Because it is 24 inches tall. Quite a bit taller than it is in the games, but less than half the size ofPokemon’s 59-inch, $450 Slowpoke plushwhich is based on its size in the Pokemon games. I’d still take Cubone in a fight despite the size difference.

There are a few Pokemon-themed things you won’t find in GameStop’s sale as the only place you may buy them is the Pokemon Center.Funko’s Pearlescent Pichu Pop! figure, for example, as well asthe new $300 beanbag chairs. Gengar, Lechonk, and Jigglypuff have been turned into furniture, and it’s going to cost you almost $1,000 to own all three of them. No buy two, get one free deal on something like that.
