Summary
FortniteWrecked ishere, butfans aren’t happy with how long it’s taking to level upthis season, making it far more of a grind to get thatsweet T-60 power armour. Thankfully, Epic Games has buffed two other modes.
Lego Fortnite’smaximum daily XP can be earned in three hours instead of three and a half, and you can get upward of 420,000 XP instead of 546,000 in the Festival mode.

Going AFK in Lego Fortnite no longer earns you XP.
That’s a few extra levels, but not everyone is happy with the change. Fans crunched the numbers and found that Epic Games nerfed the XP payout in battle royale, reducing match quest payouts to 1,000 XP instead of 5,000, while reducing the maximum daily bonus from 25,000 XP to 15,000.
Overall, you’re getting 49,000 less XP per week than last season. Buffing the other modes helps with the grind somewhat, but doesn’t address the root of the problem.

Creator Islands Have Also Seen An XP Nerf
It’s not just the main battle royale mode which has seen reduced payouts - fans quickly pointed out that they were earning less XP in the creator islands, making this season feel much slower than the last.
It’ll no doubt ramp up with the introduction of story quests and mini-events later in the season, but for the time being, fans are feeling that nearly 50,000 XP-shaped gaping hole.
