Summary
Fortnite’snewest season has a heavy handing ofMad Maxwith its desert apocalypse and decked-out vehicles. But to spice things up, Epic Games has introduced a new weapon called the Tow Hook Cannon which lets you attach to cars so that you may surf behind them.
As reported by Hypex, they have a range of 50 meters and deal 300 damage to vehicles. You can fire at them while they’re driving to stay in hot pursuit as they flee mid fight, but of course, if you need to run away yourself, you can detach the hook at any time.

The Tow Hook Cannon also does 75 damage to players.
While it functions similarly to a grappling hook, you can’t use it on walls. As shown in the picture above, the idea is that you’ll latch onto moving vehicles to give those on foot a chance to fight back - just make sure you avoid the mounted minigun on the back.
Fortnite Is Also Adding A New Sniper File
The Tow Hook Cannon isn’t the only new weapon coming to the battle royale, Shiina reports that the new Heavy Impact Sniper Rifle is also imminent (not to be confused withthe Heavy Sniper).
We don’t know much about it yet, like its stats or even when it’ll be added. But going off of looks alone, it’ll probably pack a punch if you land a hit.
There’s also the new Metallica guitar mythic which flings you into the sky on the back of a lightning bolt, quickly zipping through the air to the tune of a heavy metal riff.
Something tells me thatif the Nitro Fists were controversial, people catapulting into the air with a guitar will be too.
