There aren’t many fanbases out there as ravenous for a collab as Five Night at Freddy’s fans though, as it’s been rumored several times over the course of the last year,with the title and Freddy Fazbearmentioned invarious character surveys. It’s a popular request, and it’s a request that could be granted pretty soon.
First spotted byFortnite leaker Hypex, the official Five Nights At Freddy’s Twitter account recentlyreleased a timeline of events taking place at the start of August, which includes small game releases, announcements, and an interview with creator Scott Cawthon. One of the more interesting entries in the lineup is a mystery collab announcement taking place on August 6.
Five Nights At Freddy’s Might Get A Fortnite Collab This August
That alone wouldn’t much for Fortnite fans to sing and dance about, but as Hypex has pointed out, this mystery collab announcement by Five Nights at Freddy’s just so happens to share the exact date of Fortnite’s 30.40 update. It could very well be a coincidence, and this doesn’t outright confirm that this collab will be Fortnite, though it is strange how secretive Five Nights at Freddy’s is being about it despite being fairly open about the rest of August’s lineup.
Still, it’s best to keep your expectations in check, even if half of the Five Nights at Freddy’s fanbase have taken this little tease as confirmation already. We’ll only know for sure what this collab actually is until it’s officially unveiled, and we’ll unfortunately be waiting a month and a half before the mystery is over.
