There are countless games and shows set in an apocalyptic future, butFallout’s Amazon adaptation is giving an entirely new audience a glimpse into the bleak future the players of games have been experiencing for decades. Joining a growing list of successful video game adaptations after years of many assuming that code simply couldn’t be cracked, there has never been a better time to be a Fallout fan. Not only because of the new show, but also because of the new merch created to coincide with its success.
Not brand new since it was first revealed at the end of 2023, but getting a new lease on life thanks to the show, is Ducky’s Fallout keyboard. An industry leader when it comes to mechanical keyboard creation, Ducky’s One 3 RGB Fallout edition has all of the bells and whistles its regular keyboards include with the added bonus of being Fallout-themed.
Vault-Tec Approved
The key component of anything Fallout-themed is a blue and yellow color scheme, so naturally, that’s the stand-out element of this keyboard. Anything Fallout also needs a Vault Boy appearance somewhere, and you’ll find the Vault-Tec mascot giving his signature thumbs-up on the keyboard’s space bar. The same Vault Boy pose can be found on the keyboard’s matching mouse pad. The coup de grace of the design is its worn metallic finish, making it look like it really has been stolen from Vault Dwellers by Ghouls and Raiders.
Ducky x Fallout One 3 RGB Mechanical Keyboard
Ducky’s One 3 RGB mechanical keyboard has been given a Fallout makeover. The blue and yellow color scheme also includes an appearance from Vault Boy, and under the keys is an RGB lighting effect.
The keyboard also comes with spare keys sporting different designs for customization. The extra keys include a selection of logos from the games as well as Vault Boy heads of various descriptions. What the keyboard can actually do is even more important than its design though, of course. Its keys can be removed with ease without the need to desolder, there are adjustable feet that can be fixed at different heights to suit you, and, as the One 3 RGB name suggests, there are RGB lighting effects under the keys in case the blue and yellow isn’t colorful enough for you.
Bethesdaand the companies it has partnered with really are giving Fallout fans the chance to make it look like their gaming and streaming setups are in a post-apocalyptic vault. Not only via Ducky’s keyboard but alsoElgato’s new Fallout collection. Elgato released a limited edition Stream Deck last week, with matching mics and other accessories. Everything in the collection would fit right in with a Fallout vault aesthetic, and would also pair perfectly with Ducky’s One 3 RGB keyboard.
