Summary

Last week, theFalloutshow wasofficially renewedfor a second season, meaning that we’re finally going back to the Mojave after 15 years. Excited for more, fans are putting together wishlists for everything they want to see on the small screen in the next series.

“I want a character to wake up in the desert and see a Gecko running at them at mach fu*** just out of nowhere,” CaitAthens commented.

I want Lucy to find a magazine or a skill book. Maybe even a copy of ‘Wasteland Survival Guide’, since we know it spread through the wastes afterFallout 3.

“I want the mysterious stranger,” another Reddit user added, referencing a perk that summons a strange man in a trenchcoat and fedora when using VATS. Another commenter even suggested casting Jon Hamm.

Deathclaws, Super Mutants, And NCR Troopers Oh My!

Some of the common answers include staples like super mutants, laser weapons, deathclaws, NCR troopers, and mentions of the Courier. The next season isconfirmed to include deathclawsafter we saw their skeletal remains in the first, and Todd Howard said that we haven’t"heard the last of the NCR", so that’s at least two items ticked off.

Energy weapons feel like a given with the Enclave and Brotherhood stories ramping up, and we saw what looked like a super mutant hand already, so that just leaves the Courier.

The Kings. No context, no explanation, I just want someone to encounter a guy dressed in full Elvis gear doing the ‘thankyuhverrymush’ voice and pelvic-thrusting out in the middle of the Mojave.

Fans also want to see cazadores, giant flying insects who are arguably more annoying than deathclaws. If there’s anything that’ll make The Ghoul run like Titus, it’s a cazadore.

The Mojave is full of nightmarish critters that’ll give Lucy a run for her money, but there are some friendly faces she could run into as well.

There’s a very specific super mutant that fans are hoping to see (it’s me, I’m fans), and that’s Marcus. We meet him in Fallout 2 where he reveals that he’s a first-gen super mutant from the Master’s army, now reformed after befriending a human he fought for literal days.

He’s running a town full of ghouls, mutants, and humans called Broken Hills. But he leaves to join the Chosen One in stopping the Enclave from wiping out wastelanders. With the oil rig blown up and the American president dead, Marcus travels to the Mojave to create a new village called Jacobstown, a settlement where nightkin and super mutants can live in peace.

Super mutants aren’t the only intelligent new species we meet across the Fallout series. In the second game, we stumble across a vault full of talking deathclaws!

With two appearances under his belt across the original isometricandnewer 3D titles, Marcus has become a staple of the West Coast games, so it’s only fitting he appears in the show at some point too.
