Summary
Fallout 4is unique in that it starts before the bombs drop, letting us see the suburban ’50s-style life of Nate and Nora.
We’re ushered into a vault just as the nuclear apocalypse rears its head, entering cryostasis to wait out the radiation, but things go wrong when the vault is broken into. Our partner is killed and our son is kidnapped, and thus the hunt for a family member begins again.

Nate is also a war criminal, kinda.
But the cryostasis offers a fun twist - we wake up long after Shaun is kidnapped, meaning thathe’s older than us now. And he’s not the nicest, running the seedy organisation known as The Institute. Most players choose to kill him, siding with the Minutemen, Brotherhood of Steel, or Railroad, but one fan has taken things even further. They replayed the entire game so that they could eat their own son.
They Didn’t Even Give Shaun A Chance To Speak His Side
Immediately upon meeting Shaun, they shoot him in the head. It’s hard not to laugh watching him awkwardly flop to the ground, but then “B–bies” starts gnawing at the corpse, letting out a cannibal-worthy belch.
“You can kill [Shaun] immediately,” SneakyTheSnekers said. “I’m on PlayStation without mods and it just locks you out of a lot of story stuff, and if you get past his first dialogue and let him unlock the doors and THEN kill him, the Institute doesn’t turn hostile instantly for some reason and you can wander around for a while unless you eat his corpse.”
I named [my character] “B–bies” and apparently Codsworth can call me “Mister Boobies” and I also made him look like Scrooge.
Killing our leader? Fine. The doors open, so we don’t care. Buteating him?Get the lasers out. “Breakfast has come for you, evildoer, and I am its mouth!”

WHERE TO PLAY
In a region known as The Commonwealth, the sole survivor of Vault 111 must search for their missing child. Fallout 4 adds more to the series, including base building and an enhanced armor system, as well as an open world to traverse as you please.
