Summary

One Piece’s"Worst Generation", most of whom are otherwise known as the Supernovas, is arguably one of the most powerful groups of pirates on all the seas. They’re a force to be reckoned with, especially if you’re the World Government or the Three Great Powers. Whether they have destructively powerful Devil Fruit abilities or just ever-increasing bounties, these pirates undoubtedly have strong reputations.

Although not all of these pirates fully use theirDevil Fruit abilities(and one figure doesn’t have one at all), that just makes them that much more powerful. They might be called the Worst Generation, but they’re the best where it counts: sticking it to the man.

Scratchman Apoo from One Piece.

12Scratchman Apoo

Apoo doesn’t get involved in many conflicts in the later arcs of the anime, but he still has a fairly middle-of-the-road bounty compared to the other 11 pirates, sitting at198 million berries pre-timeskipand350 million berries post-timeskip. He also rarely stands up in terms of his Devil Fruit power against other Supernovas like Luffy and Zoro, even with hissignature technique Tatakau Music: Scratch.

Apoo also submitted to Kaido, King of the Beasts, during the timeskip. It was a strategic move, though it lost him many allies in the process. Despite his power, heoften runs away from situations in the Wano arc, unlike the rest of his generation, focusing far more on his survival.

Urouge fighting in One Piece.

11Urouge

Thecaptain of the Fallen Monk Pirateshas thelowest bounty of the group at 108 million berries pre-timeskip, but he’s still shown his strength in defeating Commander Snack and standing up to a Yonko in the first place, something rarely seen even among the Worst Generation. He’s strong, and his Devil Fruit ability allows him toturn damage into even more strength.

He’s definitely a pirate who hasn’t shown his full strength yet, so there’s potential for him to move up in the rankings if we get to see him fight more often in the series. For now, fans only have what we’ve seen post-timeskipto solidify his position with the strongest pirates on all the seas.

Capone “Gang” Bege from One Piece.

10Capone “Gang” Bege

Bege is one of theSupernovasthatcan take seriously damaging blows without flinching, sohis endurance is extremely highalong with his physical strength. His powerfocuses more on defense, especially his signature technique: Big Father. He has abounty of 350 million berries pre-timeskip, andhe joined the Big Mom Pirates during the timeskipto gain a more dangerous reputation.

His Devil Fruit ability allows him to directly take hits from even someone as powerful as a Yonko and dish back the damage, although it’s not a direct reflection of how powerful his opponent is. Bege is a formidable opponent, and his mafia boss aesthetic just pulls it all together.

Basil Hawkins from One Piece.

9Basil Hawkins

Basil may not be the strongest physically, but his power is something terrifying to witness. Besides looking intimidating with that Kubrick stare, he has a concerninglypowerful ability: Straw Man. It lets himsteal someone’s life and hold it inside a doll, transferring any damage he takes to that person he holds hostage. It does have a limit, though, as we see in the Wano arc when he runs out of bodies to trap in his fight against Killer.

He has visible limits, but his Devil Fruit power is still intimidating.Theleader of the Hawkins Pirateslanded abounty of 320 million berriesand has stayed powerful post-timeskip, and his form in battle is the stuff of nightmares.

X Drake from One Piece.

8X Drake

For being anundercover Navy soldier and a SWORD member, X Drake has a lot of power as a pirate. Not only does he havethepower of an Ancient Zoan Devil Fruit, but hebecame a part of Kaido’s Beast Pirates, amassing abounty of 100 million berries. He’s physically one of the strongest Supernovas, and is extremely dangerous to even encounter, becoming a Headliner in Kaido’s crew.

He’s skilled at multiple types of combat and weaponry, like any special operative should be, anddual-wielding an axe and a rapiersimultaneously actually doesn’t slow him down in a fight at all.

Killer fighting in One Piece.

7Killer

Killer is hard to definitively rank, since he isextremely strongandcan hold his own against other members of the Worst Generationlike Basil Hawkins, but he also has moments where he is hard to read. Hispower has barely been shown, even in his aforementioned fight, so he remains, for the most part, an enigma in the group.

He does have a bounty of162 million berries pre-timeskipand260 million post-timeskip, andKiller is known as the “Massacre Soldier,“which suggests he is far more powerful than he lets on. Helost the ability to express negative emotions through his Devil Fruit, but that didn’t affect his murderous abilities at all.

Pirate Jewelry Bonney in One Piece.

6Jewelry Bonney

Bonney isone of the scariest in the Worst Generationin terms of her Devil Fruit ability, and she has abounty of 150 million berries pre-timeskip. She canage anyone in either direction with just one touch, and she can alsonegatively affect her opponent’s strength. It’s a temporary ability, but it’s still scary to think that she can defeat someone so easily.

She also possesses the ability, referred to as Distortion Future, tocall on a stronger alternative version of herself. This stronger version is also bulkier, and just shows her potential to sprint up the list if she so pleases.

Roronoa Zoro holding his three swords in One Piece.

5Roronoa Zoro

Zoro isknown as the “Pirate Hunter”, and for good reason. HisThree Sword Style technique makes him one of the strongest swordsmenin the series, and even though hedoesn’t draw his power from a Devil Fruit, he makes up for it with his speed, agility, and raw strength. Zoro joins the Straw Hat Pirates early in the series, but he has only gotten stronger since then, unlocking the use oftwo Hakis, Enma and Conqueror’s Haki.

Zoro is also extremely resilient, showing time and time again that he can take a hit and come back stronger. Hisbounty is now sitting at over 1 billion berries, and if he continues to take down more powerful foes, it’s bound to rise.

Eustass Kid from One Piece.

4Eustass Kid

Kid is one of the only members of the Worst Generation to awaken his Devil Fruit, increasing his power a considerable amount by the time of the Wano arc. He isone of the Supernovas mainly responsible for defeating Big Mom, and he also fought against Kaidou, holding his ground fairly well. He does tend to attack civilians often, which taints his reputation and results in a bounty of 315 million berries pre-timeskip and 3 billion berries post-timeskip.

His strongest ability, Damned Punk, is strong enough to wipe out Shanks' fleet, but though he came close, he was defeated in one hit by Shanks himself. Though he suffered a humbling defeat, he stilldealt the last blow to a former Emperor, Big Mom.

Trafalgar Law from One Piece.

3Trafalgar D. Water Law

Like Eustass, Law alsoawakened his Devil Fruitand played a considerable part in taking down Big Mom. He’sknown as the “Surgeon of Death"due to his role as adoctor for the Heart Pirates, and was even aformer Warlord of the Sea. Hispower lets him physically rearrange anything, even a person’s body, which makes him very dangerous. He sits at abounty of 3 billion bounties post-timeskip.

Law is constantly hunted by the World Government for his ability to grant someone eternal youth using his Devil Fruit power. Although that ability would cost him his life, Law is able to make a name for himself using the rest of his widely destructive abilities.
