Quick Links
When we went throughLorelei And The Laser Eyesfor the first time, we didn’t really bother with the Document Tubes. We figured we would get around to them at some point, but we weren’t particularly worried about them. What we didn’t know is that those tubes held the game’s maps. Needless to say, we spent a great deal of the game hopelessly lost, desperately trying to remember where we saw certain landmarks and rooms. What a nightmare!
But you don’t have to make the same mistakes! The maps in Lorelei And The Laser Eyes areexcellent. They give you all the relevant information you could possibly want. They’ll even tell you which rooms you have unlocked. We’ll show you where you need to go to get these maps and all the puzzle solutions required to solve them. Embrace the maps and rule the Hotel Letztes Jahr!

Where To Find The Architect’s Sketches And How To Open The Document Tubes
Once you have successfully entered the Hotel Letztes Jahr, take the stairs in the reception area down to the cellar level(these stairs will be to your right). Walk to the end of the hall in the cellar, andtake the final left. The Architect’s Sketches are sitting on the drafting table. Now that you have the sketches, there are three things you need to know about obtaining maps in Lorelei and the Laser Eyes…
When you find a Document Tube, check the name. Now,find the puzzle in the Architect’s Sketches that bears the seal that matches that name. From there, solve the puzzle (we’ll help you with that), and enter the answer as the passcode.

Document Tube Locations
The first document tube you will find is in thesame room as the Architect’s Sketches. This tube holds the map to the cellar. The next Document Tube is the foyer on the first floor. Head back to the entrance, then head north into the foyer.Once in the foyer, turn to your right, the tube is on the bookshelf. This Document Tube will provide you with a map of the first floor.
Now,from the Foyer, head up the stairs. Hook around the banister andtravel south. The next Document Tube will be sitting on a shelf in this room. Predictably, this tube will give you a map to the second floor. Head back to the stairs, and head up to the third floor.Take a right, and follow the hallway. You will eventually encounterthis Document Tube sticking out of the bottom drawerof a shelf. Open it and obtain the third-floor map.

You won’t be able to obtain the final map until you unlock Room 2014.Feel free to follow this guide if you haven’t unlocked this room yet.Once in Room 2014, take a right, and climb up the ladder. You will find the final Document Tube in this attic space. All that is left to do is help you solve those puzzles!
The “Symmetric Design” Puzzle
The trick of this puzzle is that the angle obfuscates the parts of the block structure. However, since we know the structure is symmetrical, we know that any block we see on one end will exist on the other, even if we can’t see it. The structure will be 13 blocks in total (we never saw the amount of blocks the structure is made of change). So, just multiply the cost of one module by 13.The resulting number is your passcode.
The cost of the module is variable. So you will need to calculate the cost yourself.

The “Hidden Costs” Puzzle
When they say “hidden costs” they don’t mean material costs or anything particularly in-depth like that. Turn the picture so that the north arrow is pointing up (or if you are playing on a big screen, turn your head), and then look for numbers hidden in the structure. We traced the numbers we found in our sketch in the picture above as an example of what you may expect to see. That hidden number is the passcode.
The “Least Expensive Option” Puzzle
For this puzzle, you need to form the structure using the cheapest modules. The modules can’t be rotated, inverted, or duplicated. For us, we needed to pair the cube with the stubbier backward L-shaped piece, and the long piece with the hump in it. Once you have chosen the cheapest modules, add the numbers together. That is your passcode.
The prices for the modules are variable and will change between runs/players.

The “Recalculate The Area” Puzzle
This one is pretty simple.Turn the screen (or your head) until the question mark is right side up, then take the two numbers and multiply them by each other. The number you get will be your passcode.
The “Report The Cost” Puzzle
For this puzzle, you simply need tomatch the two halves that perfectly align with the picture in the top-right corner of the document.Pay close attention to the number of windows.Once you have found the two halves of the mansion, add the cost together. The number you get will be your passcode. And just like that, you should have the code for every single Document Tube! Nice!
