Minion enthusiasts unite! A whole new bunch of minions was been added with the launch ofFinal Fantasy 14: Dawntrail, and so for all you eager (Giant) Beavers out there, we’re going to break down every minion added in 7.0 and how to get it.
Some of the minions added in Patch 7.0 are not unlocked via Dawntrail content, but are or will be obtained via other means that are not yet available in-game. We will be covering all minions added in this patch regardless of whether they are currently available or not. Happy minion hunting!
Updated July 23, 2025:We’ve updated this guide to include more information on where to get each minion. The only remaining unknown at this time is Wind-up Zero, so we’ll update this guide when we have that information.
How To Obtain
Air-wheeler M9
A possible loot drop from the final boss in theLevel 97 dungeon,Vanguard.
This minion can also be purchased from the Market Board.
Alpaca Cria
Can be purchased fromTepliinUrqopachaat(X:27.4, Y:11.7)for700 Bicolor Gemstones. (It is believed you need to reach Rank 3 on Shared FATEs first.)
Ambrose The Unfinished
A possible loot drop from the final boss in theLevel 99 dungeon, Origenics.
Bluecoat Cat
This minion can be purchased from theDawn Hunt Vendorat(X:13.9, Y:13.5)inTuliyollalfor800 Sacks of Nutsonceyou have unlocked Dawn Hunts.
It’s worth noting that your previous hunt currency versions of Sacks of Nuts are one and the same, so you may have enough to buy this minion immediately after unlocking the Dawntrail hunts.

Can be purchased fromRral WuruqinYak T’elat(X:13.8, Y:12.7)for700 Bicolor Gemstones. (It is believed you need to reach Rank 3 on Shared FATEs first.)

A possible loot drop from the final boss in theLevel 100 dungeon, The Strayborough Deadwalk.
Petit Punutiy
A possible loot drop from the final boss in theLevel 91 dungeon,Ihuykatumu.
Rororrlo Teh
A possible loot drop from the final boss in theLevel 93 dungeon,Worqor Zomor.
Speaking Stone
A possible loot drop from the final boss in theLevel 95 dungeon, The Skydeep Cenote.
This minion is a reward fromPvP Series 6.
Tankardtender
A possible loot drop from the final boss in theLevel 100 dungeon, Tender Valley.
The Cornservant
This minion is a rewardfrom theLevel 90 quest ‘Tasteful Memories’. You must have completed the previous quests in this chain (starting with’Corn of Necessity’at(X:16.4, Y:12.8)inTuliyollal) and have completed the Main Scenario Quest ‘Unto the Summit’ for this quest to become available.
Tin Sentry T1
A possible loot drop from the final boss in theLevel 100 dungeon,Alexandria.
Wind-up Garnet
This minion is obtained by redeeming aDawntrail Collector’s Edition codeto your service account.
Wind-up Zero
A bonus item code included with the Dawntrail Original Soundtrack CD.
