This means you can take on everything that Shadow of the Erdtree throws at you with a party of up to six players, and as part of a multiplayer session that should, in theory, last as long as you want it to.
Elden Ring’s Most Popular Mod Now Works With The DLC
As spotted byPC Gamer, Seamless Co-op was updated earlier today over onits Nexus Mods page. The mod’s author, LukeYui, warns that it’s still in its beta stage and is prone to bugs, but it should still let you attempt a fully multiplayer run of Shadow of the Erdtree.
“Elden Ring is a huge game, and testing every possible route/combination a party might take through the game is impossible,” says LukeYuo. “The purpose of the beta is to pool resources, get as much information as possible, and fix bugs as they arise. Updates to address bugs will be frequent.”
“Since the DLC update, the mod has been re-written and therefore requires extended beta testing. Please be understanding.”
Of course, bugs are inevitable when this is a fan-made project, and one that isn’t being made for profit. LukeYuo also emphasizes that many hours have gone into making this mod work with Shadow of the Erdtree properly, and that’s not even getting into how long it took to make the mod in the first place. All things considered, it’s remarkable that this is up and running just over a week since the DLC launched.
The base game has bugs too. One of them evenspawns the DLC’s final boss twice.
At the time of writing, the mod has been downloaded a staggering 3,900,530 times by 1,830,221 unique players. This makes it the most popular download on the Elden Ring Nexus Mods page by far.
